RE: Amelia Warren Skelton
RE: Skelton Cemetery
There are probably 10 unidentified sandstone marked graves with no inscriptions. All the monuments we have been able to recover have been added to FindAGrave.
On Amelia Warren Skelton's FindAGrave memorial, the obituary that is listed seems to indicate she might have actually been buried in Marion or another cemetery than the Skelton.

John B Roberts and Mary
I tried to delete the public post question on John B Roberts because I sent it as a private. I am not on here much, so I don't know how to delete the public message. Sorry about that

You are most welcome. I understand what you mean about recording the dead. I am working on a full survey of an historic african american burial ground, where probably 3/4 of the approximate 2000 graves are unmarked. Not only existing markers, but other records such as death certs and obits can yield recognition for each of these unique and sacred lives. Happy hunting. Gordon
