Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am working on family genealogy.
In Alabama:
Franklin Co. surnames are Watson, Dye, Drake, Holloway, Williams.
Lauderdale Co. surnames are Watson, Harrison, Love
In Mississippi:
Tishominogo Co. surnames are Watson, Williams
In TN:
Warren Co: Reynolds, Byars, Evans

I am also researching the many enslaved persons of my ancestors:
Watson: in York Co., SC and Tishomingo Co.,MS
Evans, Byars, Dodson in Warren Co., TN
Reynolds in DeKalb Co., TN
With more to follow as I find them. To date I have recovered the names of 19 enslaved persons from wills and deeds.

Also researching my husbands name, Armstrong,
in Virginia and Ohio.

My mother was an accomplished genealogist who published the "Evans Family 1700-1983 by Marjorie Stewart Tucker". I was not that interested earlier in life but caught the bug as a result of the show Who Do You Think You Are and also the ancestry commercials. I am tracing my own family but also tracing the ancestry of the two African descent women who worked for us growing up.

In my other life I train and trial Miniature Schnauzers in competitive obedience. I'm also an RN and love my work as a hospital nurse.

I will turn over management of any grave if the person is closer to you than I am.

Williamson Cty family cemeteries
I saw that you have done some work on the Williamson cemetery listed on Arno. I'm trying to locate the Hall cemetery and everything that I find references Arno Rd or Arno-Allisona Rd. I went on a 5 hr trip today after I found a listing at the Tennessee State Archives that mentioned Arno Allisona Rd. I drove all over the place trying to find a cemetery. Found an old one but not what I was looking for. Stopped when I would see someone out in the yard but nobody knew of a Hall cemetery. Would you happen to know where it would be located? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: request to delete
No, that is fine... just thought it would create problems having duplications...

I had one or 2 of this same family's edits where the stone inscription varied from the death certificate. I forgot to make note of them so if you have any concerns please let me know. Thanks for all your help.

Sorry. Death certificate says birth date is 1997 but engraving says 1996. Not sure if the error is related to the grave being moved or if the error is on the death certificate but his definitely the same child. I put the date from death certificate but I guess I probably should have put 1996, but rest of changes should be correct.

Thank you for Gerald Miles 121067082
Hi Di,

Thanks for all the hours and time volunteered and a special thanks for setting up my uncle's Find A Grave page. I am going to start the process of getting his headstone. Since he had no wife or kids and joined his siblings now, he served our country and I hope I am allowed to do this for him.
