Please do not add photos to Find A Grave that you have acquired from another source. Photos fall under copyright protection laws, even photographs used in obituaries. It is a beautiful spring day so I am heading out to Fairview later this afternoon. I will look for a marker for A. Cocking but I am not too hopeful that I'll find one. Section J is the so called pauper section of the cemetery and it is not maintained at all. It is completely overgrown with weeds and most graves only have metal markers provided by the cemetery and the paper inside with the person's name and such have long since deteriorated. . .especially if the person died in 1938. I will do my best to find A. Cocking and if they have a stone marker I should be able to find it.

Hi Vonna, I have another addition to this virtual cemetery. I went to college with this man. James Booky, #80876497. Thought you would like to add him. I recently found his obituary and it included this.

Died in Richmond, Henrico County, VA.
Both her parents are buried in Cross Creek, & so is her step-mother. They are as follows:
Jerry Walter Johnson (09 Aug 1857 Robeson Co, NC - 20 Jan 1924 Richmond, VA)
1st wf: ca.1883. Lillius"Lilly" McNEILL Johnson.
Lilly McNeil Johnson's parents are buried in Cross Creek also, and they are John C. McNeil (1826-1866), and Mary Margaret JONES McNeil (1837-1927).
2nd wife: 1892. Annie Hortense BRYAN Johnson.
My Dad's Aunt Annie was born 26 Dec 1865 in Nashville, Nash Co, NC, and died 08 Aug 1934 in Rocky Mount, NC.
Also buried there is Annie Bryan Johnson's brother whose information is as follows:
Henry Eugene Bryan (10 Oct 1852 Nash Co, NC - 28 Dec 1924 Fayetteville, Cumberland Co, NC.
