My ancestors were from Ireland and England - from Co.Clare,Co. Kildare,Co.Mayo,Co.Tyrone,and Dublin.also from Liverpool England,and Middletown NJ, Philadelphia Pa. for the most part, with generations living in Bell Harbor in the Rockaway's N.Y.
Surnames of interest include: Marrs, Tierney,Fagan, Grant,Lovely,Liddy (Leddy),McLaughlin,Slevin, Stanley,Keane

I work hard to get my information as accurate as possible and am thankful when other contributors do the same. I generally don't enter information such as inscriptions that are easily readable from the picture (why by redundant?), but I'm happy to make any corrections needed. JP, Thank you very much for taking the time in trying to find my GG Uncles tombstone. Unfortunately, there was no stone. There are 3 other buried in this plot and I believe they are related. Thank you for taking the picture. Was the flag there or did you put it there to mark the spot? We don't believe he was a veteran. Is there an office in the cemetery that could confirm that is his grave site? We had called there & they gave us this location, but perhaps we wrote it down incorrectly.
It's just disturbing he doesn't have a marker. Also, we had heard he may have been shipped back to Ireland & buried there.
