I work hard to get my information as accurate as possible and am thankful when other contributors do the same. I generally don't enter information such as inscriptions that are easily readable from the picture (why by redundant?), but I'm happy to make any corrections needed. Just please use the "Edit" tab on the memorial. It's easier to manage the emails that way. Thanks!

Photo's: Please feel free to make copies of the photo's that I have taken and posted here. I do ask that if you post them to other websites please give me credit for taking them as a courtesy.

RE: Domenica Clemente Costa
Did you see dates for her? And was there a relationship stated between her and the two men she was buried with?
I appreciate any help you can give me!
Thanks,
Cindy Anderson

Hi, you added a grave photo for my memorial for Philip H Lynch at Calvary. Can you also add this photo to Sarah Bough: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=133203530
She is also buried in the grave but her name is not transcribed on the marker either.

thanks!

RE: Holy Cross Cemetery
Sorry for second message...just looked up Mary Quilty on Italian Gen. I'm guessing by her 63 years at time of death that she was James' mother. Thanks.

RE: Calvary Cemetery
Dear JP;
You probably don't remember the very good deed you did for me in 2011, photographing the grave where my McNevin ancestors are buried at Calvary Cemetery. I don't know how I missed your last note with your WTC photo, but here I am again to thank you again, with a little story.

Last April, no, make that April 2013, we had to attend a family wedding in New Hampshire, so of course we went to NH via NYC and Calvary Cemetery. Your photos did it justice, but I have to say that actually being there was vastly superior. It was not easy to locate the exact spot, and we eventually found a cemetery employee who paced it off for me. I stood there for the longest time, looking out at the Manhattan sights and reflecting on all that had taken place over on that skyline since they arrived in the Port of New York in December, 1856 and all too soon were laid to rest in Calvary in 1858. I am so glad I could be there. It was really moving to be there, with tiny little purple flowers blooming in the grass and looking across at the city.

Thanks to your photos, I knew I was in exactly the right spot. And your WTC photo is really great, took my breath away. I hope to return to NYC again and see the WTC site.

Thank you again,
Pat Thomas

Once again, JP, thanks. It certainly looks like I keep sending you on wild goose chases! This time, it's my family, not my husband's. So sad to see so many ancestors with no tombstones/markers.

Appreciate all your work.

Thank you so much for the photo. I was so surprised to receive it so soon. Can you believe all the people buried in one grave?

Again, I appreciate the photo.

Warmly
Sally

Thanks for taking the photo of Michael Sheppard's grave!
Thank you very much for your photo of Michael Sheppard's grave. It was useful to get the information of the other people buried there. I just need to figure out the connections now. Thanks again for your time!

Thank you so much for the pic and placing the flag. I did not know there was not a headstone. Now I know. Thanks again for your work.
