I am documenting the small family cemeteries in the York County, Pa. area as I research my wife's family geneology. |
I will complete photo requests during my research, and when I travel to the central North Carolina coast.
Please feel free to use any of my photos for geneology purposes. I will gladly transfer memorials if they are in your direct family line.

|Kelly Paugh||Old Airville Cemetery|
I have 2 ancestors that are in the old Airville United Presbyterian Cemetery. I live in Indiana and am coming to Pennsylvania next week. Can you give me any idea where Robert Cameron and his wife Ann are located? Is this a large cemetery? You have submitted pictures of their tombstones on Find A Grave.

Thank you so much for the Strawbridge, Kline and Ellis markers. I truly appreciate you taking the time to help a random stranger. It is so moving to be able to see the markers of family as I am doing my family research.

Long past due, but thanks for the photos Bob. I did know it had been posted.

Why is the old cemetery called Roundhill, and the new cemetery called Round Hill? Is that correct? My great grandfather didn't distinguish between the two, and called it Round Hill, as does the cemetery booklet.

Thanks! I would love to see what they have. I have a booklet from the church with names of burials, but it doesn't include 2 people that my grandfather said were buried there. There were also 2 babies/small children that aren't on the list, but were the children of my 3rd great-grandfather, who donated the land for the church & cemetery, and whose farm overlooked the cemetery. I can't imagine them being buried anywhere else.

Thank you again for the great foto of William & Rebecca Logan's headstone in the "new" Round Hill Cemetery. Bach in 2000, I visited there, and spent 2 days copying everything legible in the "old" Round Hill Cemetery, who land for the original church & cemetery was donated by my 3rd great grandfather, Andrew Duncan and his father-in-law, William Smith. I never hears of Find a Grave until years later. I should compare my notes with today's Find A Grave entries.
