I am the daughter of James Edward 'Eddie' Baughcum and Bonnie Louise Eastman. Right now i am researching the Baughcum side of the family which has roots throughout Georgia and the Carolinas. |
The Eastman side is Massachussetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire.
Would love to have any information or PICTURES if anyone has any.

|Kim Elder||RE: Mary Perkins|
She was my 9x Great Grandmother through her son, Wymond Bradbury. Here is my line:
Mary Perkins Bradbury--Wymond Bradbury--Wymond Bradbury Jr.--Rowland Bradbury--Ann Bradbury Kirkpatrick--John Kirkpatrick Jr.--Abigail H. Kirkpatrick Drury--Charles Kingsbury Drury--Alfred Kingsbury Drury--Paul Hallett Drury--Judith Ann Drury Elder and then me.
Its nice to meet you cousin Laura.
Well Mac went over there and photographed all of them and found out that the headstones do have Baughcum, but the memorials are Baughcom. His member name and number is Mac McElroy (#47516174) in case you see his photos.
Best regards, Bud

|Anthony Cooper||Shiloh Cemetery - Centerville, GA|
Are you looking for anything specific in the Shiloh Cemetery in Centerville, GA?
|Bud||Telfair County Baughcum's|
Well, sorry, but that is it for this county. No WILLIAM WASHINGTON BAUGHCUM in either Greene or Telfair. I have checked a couple of others, but no luck yet. YET, we will find something.
Have to put my old eyes behind their lids, but if you come up with any other hints on where you would like to look let me in on it. Love it, it keeps this old man out of trouble.
Best to you and all yours, Bud

Yeah, it's like a puzzle to me. I like unusual names, so ya hooked me. I also have the Telfair book and found that there is an error on the memorial and wrote to the person to tell him about it. Book and monument both have Baughcum and he entered Baughcom. There is one for a child, and the book and monument both have Baughcom. Most likely an error by the stone mason as it refers to the parents that are buried there as T. E & S. L. Baughcom. Oh boy.
Don't know the person that entered them, but you might want to ask for a transfer if they are related.

Have them all transferred to you and one extra I forgot I did. That one on Susan I did in 07. She looked so lonesome out there. I had to take a photograph. When looking for requests I take all vets I see and some I do on a whim.
Happy Researching, Bud

Hi there; Are you still looking for "Baughcum"? I have the Greene County Cemtery book and found 5 for you in the Greensboro City Cemetery. These were the only ones listed in the book. I noticed the request at Liberty United Methodist Church and could not find it in the book and then saw that the memorials had been removed. So, got my curosity up. I love mysteries.
Happy Researching, Bud
PS Happy to transfer them over to you. BB
