I love family history! My family tree has strong branches, full of great ancestors.

My grandmothers started teaching me about my family when I was just a little girl. I am proud of my heritage.

I have traveled to many cemeteries all over the USA. I enjoy walking in cemeteries and reading the headstones. Thankfully once I find a family members headstone I most likely can recall later where it is located in the cemetery.

My grandmother diligently kept obituaries and funeral programs for many many years. These have helped me greatly in contributing to Find A Grave.

*****Some things to consider about FIND A GRAVE memorials ~.~

ADDING additional information to memorials - Please send information through the "Suggest a correction or provide additional information link". This is found by clicking on the "Edit" tab at the top right of the memorial. This method will provide the URL of the memorial for identification.

If you are requesting a correction please reference a primary source from which the info was obtained. Biographical sketches are welcomed.
Please use the edit feature within the memorial to let me know of any corrections or additions to my listings so that I may make the changes. It is important for me to have correct information as well as information that will help others researching their family members and friends.

I welcome suggestions and corrections to any of my work.

FIND A GRAVE says this about transfers..
"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren".

I say ... If I currently manage a memorial for someone that is special to you - and you email me and ask me, I will most likely transfer that memorial. (Unless they are within my 4 generations.) ** I know first hand how sad I feel about someone else being the manager of a memorial that is for my sibling and they don't even know him - and are not kind enough to make the transfer.

"The goal at Find A Grave should not be to manage all of your family members. If you have information to add, you should suggest it to the current manager and they should make the changes."
~~~~~Jim Tipton, creator of Find A Grave.
Also, feel free to use any of my photos for your own use. My photos are from the collection that my paternal grandmother had. OR are from photos that my mother has in her possession from family members and friends on our ancestry line.
PARENT LINKS - are created from the child memorial, and cannot be made from the parent memorial. Please send your links to the manager of the child memorial. The best way to add information for family links is to use the "Edit" tab in the upper right hand corner of the memorial. An email is sent to the manager by Find A Grave.
If I send you information regarding a memorial that you are in charge of, please consider adding this imformation to the memorial. I send supporting information in regards to my request. I have looked for additional information such as obituaries or newspaper articles. I know it takes time to add it - if I could add the information myself I would.
RE: Bob Feasel
Thank you, but NO thanks. I don't have any idea how to manage entries for Find a grave. I LOVE what others do to get the info out to the rest of us, but I don't know how to manage them.
On another note, would you know how to get in touch with Mark? We have been trying! I am afraid a bit too much time has lapsed & phone numbers are deleted. We were over to see Bob & Marylou not too long ago. We know nothing of Bob's burial, & no other obit has been printed that we can find & we know there are many that would like to know what happened & such. IF you could help us, we would be most grateful! Thank you!
RE: Grant Tillman Beaty
I recognized the Gyllenskog name. I sent some of Grant's things to Judy Gyllenskog several years ago. We used to email and haven't heard from her in a long time. Do you know her. My aunt Mae called him "Slim" and he went by Grant in the family and community. Nice to hear from you.
