Bio and Links
Bio Photo "Grandchildren are the dots that connect the lines from generation to generation." Lois Wyse (20th century)

"Life is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset. What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others." S Pierce in memorial of "Woody" and Wilda Woodward.

I am a grandmother picking up the genealogy work started by my father, mother and uncle. Now, I am combining and elaborating on this work, linking my family genealogy (ancestors and descendents) and adding memorials for family and friends.

I assisted with the Centennial Chapter NSDAR project of photographing the headstones in Weld County Colorado.

If you have family whose memorials I manage, I will be glad to transfer these to you. If you want to copy any of the photos I have posted, feel free to as long is it is not used for commercial purposes.

"Upon my death I authorize any of my memorials to be transferred to any FAG contributor as they are requested."

"If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you."

RE: Harold Dillon
You're very welcome! I don't have an obituary for him, though. I got my info from records at - his birth record index, veteran burial records, social security records, census records. I'm a descendant of Harold's grandparents, EE and Stella Taylor Dillon, and have been working on the family tree for many years. Thank you for posting photos of Harold to findagrave, what a treat! Best Wishes - Lisa

RE: Lydia Tuttle
Hello again,
If you'd like to have any of these memorials I will gladly transfer them to you. As I mentioned, I'm not related to either the Tuttles or the Buchholz's. Just let me know.

RE: August Buchholz
I used the Pedrick database as a jumping-off point for much of my Buchholz information. I don't have original documents for any of these people.
There's loads of Fond du Lac information on the web, so I do a lot of research into the people I had there. And, as I mentioned earlier, I just fell down that rabbit hole.
I found August Buchholz's 1918 newspaper obit and the Hillside cemetery listing has August & Friedricke Maria (nee Arndt)'s birth/death dates.
I didn't find an Emma Kitzeow in my research. August did outlive Friedricke by four years, so it's possible he did remarry for a brief time. His obit doesn't mention a surviving wife though, only 4 sons and 2 daughters.
I don't have much on Ruth Inez Tuttle Buchholz, just the SSDI birth date (02 Apr 1904) and Wis Death Index death date (06 Nov 1996) and place (Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.) Her newspaper obit says "private interment" so I don't know where she's buried.
I have even less on her husband Harvey Buchholz (I've also seen him referred to as Harry.) Born on 12 Feb 1904 in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin (probably in Ripon.) I have yet to find death information on him, but it had to have occurred between 1975 and 1996.
I hope this information is useful. If you want copies of the obits I can send them to you. Just let me know.

RE: Lydia Tuttle
I'm no relation to the Tuttles. I think I'm tangentially related to the Buchholz's somewhere. One of them popped up in my research and you know how it is when you jump down that rabbit hole. I took the listings for Hillside and Woodlawn cemeteries and went from there. Rabbit holes!

Thank you for transferring her memorial to me. She is distantly related. Her grandparents are buried in a little cemetery in Blaine, Kansas. My cousin and I are working on a directory for the cemetery grounds and in the process, trying to update Find A Grave with family links to all the souls buried in Blaine. Good luck with your project too.

RE: William Yeager 1921
No relation. There was a photo request for one of the other infants, I just labelled all six.

RE: Sam, Theresa and Amelia Saracino
The best looking photo of the Saracino stone (when blown up to full size, i.e. click twice) is the one for Sam's memorial. Amelia's is somewhat cropped and therefore a bit more distinct. However, if you would prefer the uncropped photo, let me know. Or I could place both on the memorials.

RE: Guy Leonard
Hi there. No need to transfer. Guy is a distant relative (2nd cousin, 1x removed) - I just happen to be researching this branch of my FT.

Bessie Smith
I am sorry but I don't know if Bessie Smith married to Conrad Smith is the one you are looking for. Good luck to you.
