Thank you so much for the transfer. Had been looking for something like that for a long time. Nice to know where he is. "Disappeared" from the family after the wife got a divorce when the children were born, my grandmother being one of the youngest. Donna

Hi Betty - If you would transfer Harvey Norton to me, it would be much appreciated. He is my great grandfather. Happy to provide proof if needed.

|Anonymous||Louis N Miles|
Hello, I left an edit for you to ok.
Louis N Miles married Carrie B Collins in Rockford Illinois in 1899
Together they had one son Harold.
Carrie died in Rockford in 1903.
Harold died in Fruitvale Calfornia in 1907 at age seven, and was returned to Rockford to be buried next to his mother. This connects Louis, Harolds father, to California.
Newspaper accounts place Louis in, Co H, Ill. 3rd Regiment Infantry.
I believe that makes a match for your entry for Louis.

Betty, I would be delighted with the transfer, but in all honesty, he would be my great-grandmother's cousin. I will leave that as your call, but again, thank you for your work. It is very much appreciated. Deb Huffmyer

Thank You for updating this memorial. I frequently trace military men that helped with the formation of Nevada and served in the Civil War.Luckily I found the information and the Burial to add it to. Thanks Again.

Thank you for creating his memorial, Jas was a brother to William Bennett Hitchcock my GGGrandfather -Bob
Thank you so much for all your work. I am not sure how I would have found this grave without it.
George is from a family where all four sons served in the Civil War. Seeing pictures of the headstones makes that very "real."
And of course, I appreciate the transfer!
