These memorials were not made to focus on the death of the person, but to honor their life.

•All corrections and updates are considered welcome additions. Please use the Edit tab for any SACs or transfer requests. If you prefer to email your requests that is fine, also. Messages left on the profile message board are valued. Please don't be offended if you, later, see that your post there has been deleted. It is only gone from the board-I save all posts to a .txt file. ~Honor

•Since I am unable to get out and about to take photographs, it really means a lot to me when the Cemetery Walkers on Find a Grave upload pictures to these memorials. Thank you very much for your time, effort and generosity. Your work is truly appreciated.

I don't think I saw another stone under the tree but I can double check. I'm going back anyway to that section.

You're welcome. The stone is underneath a pine tree and I figured no one had bothered. It wasn't easy!

The information on the parents of Elverton Lemay is wrong. His parents were George Harvey Lemay and Eliza Jane Puckett.

You are right about the date. In fact most of the dates are not correct. Here is an account of the 72nd Indiana Infantry with much earlier dates.

I'll take a look at my records to see if I was the one that transcribed this.
