Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a genealogist and geneablogger who has been tracing my family since 2001. I understand how useful finding that tombstone can be (especially with a picture!). Please don't hesitate to request a cemetery photo from the Colorado Springs, CO area. Transcriptions are always great, but a picture gives you that firm piece of evidence and documenting the sources for your family tree is always so important!

Charles and Annie Gallagher
Hello Ms. Cherie! I do not think I am related to Charles Gallagher. However, my 2x great-grandmother, Winifred Mulligan, buried in the St. Mary's Cemetery was a Gallagher. There may be a connection, but I have not done that much research on the Gallagher family. I do have a photo of her and my 2x great-grandfather, John Mulligan that I added to their memorials. The photo was taken about 1868.

Winifred's daughter, Rose, married my great-grandfather, Daniel Fair. My Fair family goes back to 1751, when my 5th great-grandfather immigrated to America from Germany. My 5th great-grandfather was a Valley Forge serving with General Washington 1778. My 4th great-grandfather also served in the Revolutionary War as did three of his brothers.

Since I have access to death certificates from 1906 to 1963, helping folks with biographical information is something that I like to share.

Regards,

Jerry Fair

St. Mary's Cemetery
Thank you for all of your outstanding work adding memorials for St. Mary's Cemetery.

My great-great parents, John and Winifred Mulligan are buried in St. Mary's Cemetery. Sadly, they do not have grave markers. I wanted to purchase grave markers for them, but I was told that the plot records were destroyed in a fire.

Happy New Year,

Jerry Fair

His mother traveled to Kansas City on the train and brought his body back to Wisconsin for burial.

You are very welcome! I'm glad that I found them for you. Hopefully now, all of St. Joseph Cemetery is transcribed.

RE: Margaret Boyle - Beaver Brook Cemetery
Thanks for checking I'm not sure if it is the same person or not. The memorial was set up from grave transcriptions of St. Patrick (the Catholic) cemetery in Beaver Brook. Since I didn't see the stone myself, there is the possibility that the state read "Jan" instead of "July". Of course, Margaret Boyle isn't such a unique name that it could be a different person. So for now, I'll see if I can dig up anything more.

If you happen to have newspapers from mid- to late-July of the same year, it might be interesting to see if there is anything mentioned of another Margaret Boyle.

Thanks again and I'll let you know what I find out,
Devon Graf

Hi! But there's a middle initial M. that we don't know yet! So there's more. You are quite welcome. Bill

RE: Thomas and Sarah Lee
Sorry, I'm not related. While my paternal line is from PA (Cambria County), I have no relatives in Allegheny County.

If you are related and would want the memorials transferred, let me know and give me your contributor ID# along with the memorial numbers.

Good luck in your continued search.
