Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have had a love of genealogy since I was a very young girl, probably because I had very little extended family and was adopted by a step father early in my life. I have been earnestly researching these family for the last 13 years and have found sites like "Find a Grave" such a valuable tool in my research. I hope that the photographs and information I've posted here will help many generations of genealogists to come! As a young girl I wanted to be a archaeologist and I suppose this is my way of unearthing and contributing to the family history of these families.

My husband loves old cemeteries and is my constant companion on our grave site visits. He loves cleaning and restoring stones to their original splendor. He feels when they are moss covered and hard to read that it speaks of neglect and that no one is visiting those lost loved ones. He enjoys paying his respect in that small way by his little acts of TLC.

frocks/sterners
Hello... Trying to find out more information about the sterner side of my family. I can trace up to what I think might by Treva's father, John Frock. I was wondering if you had any information about her mother, Alice Sterner Frock or her parents.

RE: Joseph Carter
Joseph Carter is the one in St Mary's Cemetery.

Send info on Jefferson. I'll see what I can "dig up".

joseph carter
I sent a copy of a NH death certificate for Joseph Carter. He is buried in St Mary's Cemetery in Claremont, NH. There is no Elizabeth Carter in St Mary's. The only Elizabeth Carter who died in Claremont was in 1906 at the age of 85. Do not believe this is Joseph's wife.

Re: Rachel Bloom
Hello. We received the SAC for Rachel Bloom, but haven't made the connections as yet. There seems to be some confusion right now that we're researching in hopes of straightening out.

Apparently there were two Rachels whose data are now intermingled:

1) Rachel Bloom, buried in Mountain View Cemetery in 1881, #90229720

2) Rachel "Hettie" (Mentzer) Frock, buried in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in 1905, #53891746

We tentatively believe that your link from Mary Moore to Rachel Bloom is the correct one. We're just not sure about any additional info at this time. We'll keep working on it :)

All the best,
Terri

RE: Hamm's
Hi There,
I am related to the Ham family with only 1 M rather than Hamm with 2 M's. I just saw that Jacob Hamm had a last name similar to my ancestors so I thought I'd add a flower. If by chance I'd find any information on him I will definitely let you know! Sorry that I don't have a photo for you!!! Thanks, Laura Hershey
