If you are speaking of Robert Pou, 1793-1856, he is the father-in-law of my 2nd great grand aunt. I'm glad you like the page I created.

Yes we are related, I just don't know where in my tree yet. I also have a large Miller line. We talked about Miller's before when I found a Miller Cemetery and was not allowed entry into the cemetery unless I proved relationship. I guess she didn't like me or didn't give her enough proof. She won't even allow the cemetery to be put on findagrave. Oh well, a day will come.
See ya cousin

Thank you for adding the information to update the memorials. You are so quick! As I find more, I'll send you information. I went to Mobile about 15 years ago to photo my gg grandfathers headstone not knowing that so many others were buried at Magnolia Cemetery. I never had a chance to go back, so I really appreciate you and how you volunteer to walk cemeteries to create these memorials.
God Bless You,
|Veloyce ||Butler Causeyville Cemetery|
Hi Robert, I tried to find the cemetery using you directions and could only locate Ebenezer Cemetery. I was at Causeyville Baptist Church Cemetery this afternoon fulfilling a few requests and happened to meet the pastor. He said he's heard of the Butler Causeyville Cemetery. Thought you might want to know. Veloyce

You have incomplete information on her site for the Kewanee Cemetery. She was my grandmother, and she had a total of 9 children. Martha Juanita Miller Brown is buried in York, AL. Her other children still living are: Eugenia (lives in Bessemer, AL), Doris Eloise Miller Sims (lives in Meridian, MS), Ambrose Earl Miller (lives in Meridian), and Melvin Glenn Miller (now lives in Hickory, MS).

Hi Robert ...
No, I am not related. But I knew this family when our family lived in CA for about a year. I was about 6 probably. Greg was a little older than me. (I was born in '54) And I think Gail was older also by a couple years. My mom and dad were friends with the Strattons.
The pic of Greg I found by searching the internet. I now live in Delaware!
|Carolyn Buckley||RE: MARQUIS D. L. CLARK MEMORIAL|
I am the granddaughter of Daniel Felix Clark, who married Cordelia Six on 2 April 1882 in Independence County, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Marquis D. L. Six. Daniel and Cordelia had a son, Marquis D. L. Clark (Mark) born 14 February 1883. She isn't in anything else I can find from that time till he remarries in 1889 to my grandmother, Nancy Fain. I have been able to find Mark Clark living with his grandfather, Marquis Six in the 1900 Census for California, Cleburne County, Arkansas, and later I found his grave in Fivemile Cemetery, Cleburne County, Arkansas. He died on 15 January 1903. I have no idea how he died or anything about him. My grandfather died when my dad was very young (7 years old) and in all his talking about his family over the years, he never mentioned his dad being married before his mother, or having a half-brother named Mark. He would have not been born when Mark died. My dad was one of 12 children, and he was number 10. I guess my grandmother didn't mention it either, but she died when Dad was 11, and there was nothing remembered. I have searched all files I could find, and I can't find when or where Cordelia died or where she's buried. My grandfather and his mother are buried in Egner Cemetery in Salado, Independence County, Arkansas, and you can find them on Find-A-Grave. Mark and his grandfather Six are on there also. If you should run into any of this info, I sure would appreciate knowing what happened. I hope this answers some of your questions, too. Carolyn

|Melba Wells||Letter on 2-22-1988|
I found your letter in a box of old letters.
At the time you were researching the famiy of Jeremiah J. Hayman and Nancy Lucretia Williams. I do not know if I ever answered your letter. Sorry for the delay.
After doing a bit of research, I find that this Williams line is not my line. I descend thru the G.F.Byrd Williams that lived below Toomsuba and my Felix Boney also lived in that area.
Boney Usher Williams was brother to my great grandmother, Nancy Williams, wife of Felix Boney and Boney Usher's family lived in the Causeyville area.
To date, the Boney Field has yet to be found. However, I believe that is posibally located on the property that belonged to Kinsey Boney, brother to Felix. Now some of Kinsey's descendants are related to "Fate" Williams.
Wish I could have been more help to you.
After 44 years of research, I still hit brick walls.
Melba Boney Wells

Would be very pleased to share info with a fellow family member. I am set to retire in a couple of weeks,and am looking forward to getting back to doing extensive research that has been on the back burner for the last 15-20 years. There is so much available via the Internet that was not around when I first began my search.
