 | Hugh Walter Carl, Thank you for taking the photo of my uncle Hugh's grave. I believe that my Aunt Jean (Regina Walter) is also buried there, did you see her grave nearby? She died 2 years before him, in 1966. Thanks so very much, lisa

 | cemetery information Hi Carl Could you please help me - I am a findagrave volunteer - do mostly Lauderdale Memorial Gardens Cemetery - very new at this.
At first, I went into the office and was driven to the graves.
On the ones that provided the Block number -My husband and I would walk the block until we found the grave, took picture and put on find a grave.
I would go to the office when we could not find a stone, or did not know the block # - they drove us out to the space - marker or not. Been to office 3 times, for abt 9 grave sites. The visits got more unfriendly each time -- Questions - Our these your relatives? Who are you doing this for etc. I would say for friends. I also take ramdom pictures while there, and list on findagrave.
Latley, When I see a request from findagrave - I would email the individual to ask for them to call for the Block #. Some don't, but several did. The last person that called - they would not give out the information to him, they said someone would have to come into the office. So, now the cemetery will not give out grave locations over the phone which forces me to go to the office.
I do not know what I should do - the cemetery is to large to find a stone without block #. How do you get the information to take a picture. I noticed you fill almost all the request for evergreen cemetery, that cemeteries information is held at the Lauderdale Memorial office. Same office I am having problems with.
Please let me know how you are doing such a great job. People all over the county have been so kind to me - I wanted to be of service.
Do I just walkin to office every week with my list?
Sincerely hope to hear from you. Donna McGinty
