I am a direct descendant of the Copp, Brown, Peck, Ward, McIntyre, and Shaw families on my father's side. Roloff, Crescelius, Garbrecht, Pfersich, Zastrow, and Ziemer families from Prussia on my mother's side. I am making a special effort to photograph stones at Terre Haute Cemetery in Henderson County, IL. Many of the stones are faded and breaking off. I want to preserve them digitally before it's too late. My Peck & Shaw ancestors rest at this cemetery, so it is very important to me.|
As with everyone else, if you find a relative's memorial that I have created, you can have it to manage. Just drop me a note via Find-a-Grave. I am creating memorials because I can get to these cemeteries to take the pictures. I appreciate the memorials people have made for my family members who are buried far away. Thank you, all!

I looked through the other surnames you mentioned in your profile, and found D. J. Shaw (bio and ink drawing). The only other name was Wood: John (bio & drawing), Hon. Samuel (bio & drawing), William, and Cyrus.
See anything there you'd like me to try to scan for you?

I think I forgot to reply to your last message. Thanks for letting me know the probable newspaper where Lloyd Rankin's obit appeared. Hope winter isn't too bad -- wherever you are.

Are you familiar with the book "Portrait and Biographical Album", Warren County, Ill published 1886? I see that there is a biographical sketch for S.W. Huston, son of John and Elizabeth (Weakley) Huston. He married Mary Woods, children are Carrie, James W and Robert W. I'm in (temporary) custody of the book, and will try to scan appropriate pages (the book is several hundred pages thick, so I don't know if I can successfully scan it or if I'll have to try to photograph it). There's very little in it I have found concerning my own relatives; do you have last names I could search for who might be included in it (just Warren County)?

I see that you're busy as usual, and I'm sure you've helped dozens of people since I last communicated with you.
Look for the Huston's to be transferred, and thanks.

Thanks for reminding me to add her maiden name. I also have the memorials for her parents, but really only know what I can cobble together from the census records and family trees at Ancestry. Would you like the Huston records transferred to you?

Your Welcome, glad I could help.

Hi: Really appreciate having the information. Do you happen to know what newspaper the obituary appeared in? Nice to hear from you! And thanks!

You may have copied the burial instead of the death date for Melville Lloyd Green. There's an online Illinois Statewide Death Index that says he died 6 Nov. 1934.

Thank you for the information on Venise Jordan in Rosemont Cemetery - Plymouth, Ill. I really appreciate being able to have something for the memorials so they aren't just a name. Thank you so much, hopefully I'll be able to return the favor someday. :) Connie

Thanks, found his obit and created his memorial 140924937. If you find pics of his and Cecil's marker, let me know and I'll request photo!
