I've appreciated the information I've found here, and just want to give back by contributing, but it isn't the only thing I do. I enjoy genealogy and share what I can, please let's keep it that way. It might take me six months to get to edits... constant emails and messages from you will not change this and takes the joy out of this.
Certain members add duplicate photos to memorials, please stop... it's a waste of time and storage. Spend your time filling in missing info instead, please.
Due to the many photos I have updated, and therefore memorials created, there are always lots of emails with additional information. We all make mistakes, but please check your information... I've received complaints about information provided by others. I neither need nor want any proof of your information, since I will include your FAG ID in edits, or possibly list suggestions in bio rather than making changes with discrepancies. This way if there is a problem with your info, people can take it up with you. IF you want edits performed, PLEASE check the page first and assure that the information isn't already there, then indicate what you want done (not just to me, but to whomever you email). I am dismayed by the number of emails I get that list out a bunch of information which I have to go through and try to figure out what needs done, and then discover that for some unknown reason there is no correction, just regurgitated info from some site. THANKS for your understanding.
I'm do not make transfers or edits through requests from comments page. Please use supplied FAG links.
Please let me know (once) if you find a mistake or have additional information/corrections BY SELECTING THE EDIT LINK ON THE MEMORIAL PAGE. YOU DO NOT NEED TO KEEP EMAILING AND MESSAGING ME... I WILL GET TO IT eventually.
Please indicate your relationship to transfer requests... I am related to some of these people too!

Flo Fleming 96478604 I found the whole article about Mr. Fleming being wounded in Italy during WW II in some boxes of old newspapers that I got from my aunt. Do you want it for this listing, or do you know his family and think they would want a copy of it. I can scan it and put it on the listing if you want it on there. It is about 3"x4".
Kent Kooi and I have been doing research on the men of the 4th Iowa Cavalry for over three years. We would also like to ask your permission to use your headstone photo of Jonathan Davis in a Power Point presentation we are putting together to donate to the historical societies in several Iowa counties. We would credit the photo as "Courtesy of Ahwahneeliz" or your name if you'd care to share. Please let me know and thank you for your help.
Susan Elizabeth Kilpatrick Davis Your photo of this tombstone shows evidence of repair, but since then the stone has broken into 3 pieces. Soon caring Davis descendents who live through the U.S. will have the stone replaced. We have each visited Mt. Moriah and this grave site. The new stone is designed to closely replicate the orininal. Eventually we will have a photo of the replacement which we will want to share with you. Thank you for your interest. Sylvia Stanford Smith in Texas firstname.lastname@example.org
