My Profile image is a "Making A Difference" award presented by NBC 15 News in Madison, Wisconsin for all of the volunteer efforts that go into making "Findagrave" a valuable resource. Thank you for all of the volunteer efforts. |
In my youth, I often looked through the box of old family images and negatives that was stored far away in the closet. Who are these people and what do they mean to me? While at college, my Architectural studies allowed me the opportunity to work in the Photo Lab. This experience enabled me to take those negatives and make them real, and as such was my first opportunity to create a family album and to understand our family's history. The start of a life long effort!
The advent of the computer and the internet just made it all that much easier. Over the years I have enjoyed making connections with family in the name of family research. There is a lot of information available from various sources and it takes one family member to organize it and make it available to all!
As past president of Clan MacCallum/Malcolm Society of North America Inc and now their "Family History Coordinator" I truly value our rich heritage and I endeavor to assist others in their ancestry quest.

Thank you so much for photographing our joint headstone. Since I live a distance from Forest Hill Cemetery it is nice to be able to see the marker online. You and others like you perform a service that is like no other. Thank you very much.
Thank you for your time and great headstone photo for Evelyn Oliva Olson Milliff's memorial page!

thanks Neil for including the picture of my grand father's grave site. I notice that it is covered with some kind of moss or lichens of some kind. Do you know any way to clean that off. I live close enough to be able to come in and clean his marker if I knew how. If you have any knowledge of this let me know. thanks again - Randy Marks

Thank you for your fine photo for Samuel Trousdale's memorial. The memorial is so much more meaningful with the photo.

WOW, that is probably the fastest response to a photo request, maybe 1 1/2 hours. THANKS! The photographs are wonderful.
With my gratitude,

Thank you so much for the photo of Emily Snaddon. She was my mothers Foster Parents mother after the WOII. Do you think that it is possible to send me a file with a higher resolution.
Thanks very much!

Thank you so much for the photo of Leo Olson's grave. The grave also had his parents and 3 siblings, so this was incredibly helpful. One sister was not even in the system yet. I created her memorial and I would like to use your photo. I added it and credited you for the photo, but I want to know if that is okay with you. If it is not, I will remove it and, if it is not too much trouble, would you add it yourself? This is her grave id: 160809673. She also has a sister, already in the system, but doesn't have the photo. Here is her id: 86628518. Would you add it to hers, or would you mind if I added it myself? Thank you again! You made my day!

Thank you for looking for Inez' headstone and posting information regarding the lack of headstone. I have made note of same on her memorial and I have removed my request at findagrave. Thanks again for your time.
