|Please READ Find A Grave FAQs before requesting memorial transfers.|
I am happy to make corrections, additions, links so long as:
"Please email any corrections you find to the individual who created the record. Most memorials will have an 'Edit' tab on the upper right side of the memorial. Click on the 'Edit' tab, then click on the 'Suggest a correction' link on the Edit page. Follow the instructions to submit your correction. An email will be sent to the contributor who manages the memorial page........."
"Be sure to include a link to the memorial record that needs to be corrected, as well as any information about the record that needs to be corrected or added, such as the individual's full name, birth/death dates, cemetery name and location, father, mother or spouse's memorial ID # to be linked to, etc."
Those who contact me and fail to include their email will likely not get a reply.

|Mary Hogan Moore||RE: Transferring memorials|
Larry, I'm not sure which transfer you are talking about, but I usually don't transfer one just because someone ask me a question. Most of my memorials that I created are from one cemetery that I lived close too at the time. I don't mind transferring the memorials to people who are related to them. Again, I'm not sure why it matters, because I do not know the majority of the memorials I take pictures of and am very happy to transfer it to someone who is related. I know the Find A Grave recommendations very well and have actually had someone refuse one of my request for a transfer of my Uncle's memorial. I am okay with that, because this is a volunteer site and we are all here to help others find their loved ones resting place.
|Kenneth D. Tyler||Myrtle Cecilia (Loveland) Dudley|
Thanks for the info on Myrtle. Per the photo of her gravestone, I have kept her first name as Myrtle. She was born in Scioto County, Ohio. I have added her obituary to her memorial. Thanks again.
