I think this might be my grandfather's baby sister. What is your connection to her?
|Cindy Guerin||Elwell Graves|
Dear Kyle, Thank you so much for finding the Elwell Graves. I am from almost 400 years of S. Jersey Farmers: Swedes, Dutch, French, Irish, Quakers and German. If you are ever at Greenwood in Phila could you snap a pic of my Great, Great Grandparents who emigrated c. 1870 from Mirfield, England he was recruited for his machinery skills he was a weaver. Charles Tunnicliffe 1837-1890 and Elizabeth Talbot Tunnicliffe 1836-1889. With deepest appreciation, Cindy

I looked at 1979 microfilm today to try to find where she passed away and I couldn't find an obit for Dorothea. Not sure why it wouldn't have been put in the local paper. Just seems odd.

Ok. Thanks. It just gets confusing as the town is in both counties.

Hi. I got your edit for Dorothea. One question - do you know she died in Shippensburg, Cumberland County? The only reason I ask that is because Shippensburg is in two counties, both Franklin and Cumberland. If you know she died in Cumberland I will add that but I just wanted to be sure.

I scanned a microfilm while in Salt Lake City 2 years ago. It contains early cemetery readings for Salem, Cumberland, Gloucester and one for Cape May counties. It is about 350 pages of handwritten readings. I have been adding them to Find a Grave unless they are already there. William Fisher is listed as being buried in Friendship Cemetery age 37 years.

Re: William H. Morton
Mt Holly (NJ) Cemetery
Thanks for this important work. It is much valued and appreciated. I noticed on the web page that there were obituary references for the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Burlington Mirror. I have tried unsuccessfully to locate those references through free/paid websites. Would you be able to tell me where you were able to obtain those obituaries?
Thank you in advance,
