I enjoy exploring old cemeteries. There is a lot of history in them to be shared. My Family research is in the Christie, Wheeler, Ogburn, Campbell, and Milburn lines. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and know the importance of geneaology work and temple work for our kindred dead. I hope that some of the graves I transcribe will assist someone that is doing family history research.If I made errors, please let me know and I will correct them. Some of the older stones are deteriorated and hard to read.I am transcribing cemeteries in Columbia, Union, Bradford and Hamilton Counties , Florida. If you are looking for a grave and know where the interment occurred, let me know and I will try to locate it for you.|

|Judy in California||RE: Kathryn H. Wheeler Dykas|
I reviewed all my notes and now I am really confused. I find nothing in my trees about Katherine Wheeler Dykas! Because I cannot find my proofs or notes on this memorial, I am deleting because (at least for now.) I would recommend that you use the Columbia Co memorial as I cannot prove mine.

|Dell Anne Hines Afzal||RE: William Henry Hines 49970066|
Yes Alton, my grandfather was William Henry Hines who married Ola Dell Wheeler and I am blessed to have received her name. His son, my father is Charles Henry Hines who is buried at Forest Gateway in Lake City and his sister is Maude Hines Feagle buried in Tampa, FL. They had a younger sister, Juanita Hines Smith Clark Larsen who just passed in Franklin, TN in December of last year. There was another child, Stella, who passed before my fathe was born. She is likewise buried with Granddaddy and Grandmother Hines at Oak Grove.
My mother is Lois Marion Davis Hines who is 84 and going strong in Lake City and her mother is Lois Annie Williams Davis Feagle who is buried in White Springs, FL.
Some years back I had an occasion to find my step-grandfather Clarence S. Feagle, Sr. who had been lost in World War II and was buried in France. Our family never knew the exact location of his grave since the Army records were incomplete and I found it over 60 years later using this wonderful site Find-A-Grave. It was quite by accident and led me on a journey to find out more about where my family came from and where they had been. Thus, I searched out all the locations in Lake City that held my relatives and found your information on my Grandfather.
That, in turn, began my writing career and I am now pleased to report I have published two books on my family. The first "Treasures in the Attic: Gifts from a Woman of Faith" tells the story of my Grandmother Lois Annie and how I found Clarence. The second "Treasures Found: Devotion" is the story of my mother and father's lives. I welcome you to visit my website at www.dellafzal.com to see short stories of our lives. My books are available on my website as well or can be found at Barnes and Noble, Amazon and many other christian reading outlets. I hope you will find your way to check them out.
Blessings to you in your endeavors and I might add, my daughter, Shaida, some years ago showed interest in genealogy and has more information on the Wheeler/Register side of the family you might like. If so, contact me again and we'll talk.
It appears you do a lot of photography and documentation of the graves and I thank you and your kind from the bottom of my heart since just finding the site and cultivating my own endeavors has now meant so much to me and to my mother especially.
I thank you for your email and hope to be of some service in your search as well. Have a blessed day "cousin"...

Oscar and Mamie are my grandparents. I was wondering how to link all of their children and parents to them?
|Audrey Brennan Florentine||Beardsley Memorials|
It would be appreciated if you could connect Daniel Waldo Beardsley 11522834 and his brother Rev. Bruce Beardsley 11521586 with their parents: James Ellsworth Beardsley 124015768
Ruth Robbins Beardsley 124015790.
The Beardsley family were pioneer settlers in 1915 in the Everglades (Clewiston) and are still a presence there. Thank you.
