Hi Diane, the photos uploaded fine for me, although Kay's was rolling sideways at first so I just reduced in size. Also figured out the inscription for Muriel C. Frank and she has a memorial in another cemetery. I uploaded your photo and put in a request to transfer to HOE. Thank you.

Hi, Diane. Thank you for creating the Find A Grave Memorial #143795882 for my husband's Aunt. Everything is great, especially the photos; however, the name is incorrect. The
correct name is Olive Norwood Gott-Danziger, only sibling
of my husband's mother, Florence Edna Gott-Mitchell.

Thanks again. We really appreciate your contribution.

RE: Ida & Max Alpern
Thanks, I see what you mean about sideways.
I assume the photo is not that position on your computer. The only other thing I can think of is for you to email it to me and I'll reposition it with my software. I can email it back or post it on the memorial. If I post it my name will be as the submitter, however I would add you as taking the photo. What ever you prefer is fine with me.
thanks for taking the time to get it.

Thanks for the transfer Diane. Never thought I would unravel this. So happy that you created this memorial!

Photo on Michel Redinger record
The photo posted there is wrong. The contributor clipped it from the passport application, but took it from the previous page, not the back of the application of Redinger. It's an easy mistake to make as the book is scanned with the back of the previous application on the left and the subject application on the right. If you advance the image one page, you find the correct image.

RE: Gertrude & Lieb Fox
Hi Diane,

I'm not related to anyone in the cemetery. I am a professional genealogist who coincidentally moved to a home across the street from this cemetery. I noticed that the cemetery was poorly represented online, and decided it would be a fun project.

I'm working on listing all of the Home of Peace cemetery interred on Find-A-Grave, doing a little background on them to discover their origins and parentage when possible.

In the course of studying the Mink family, I noticed that the wife, Bertha, was a daughter of Louis and Gertrude and decided to look for the passenger list. Knowing from her tombstone that she was "Beile", and that Fox was spelled like Fuchs, it only took a minute to find the manifest. Later I saw the entry for Harry & it happily confirmed my supposition that "Kryslev" was, in fact, Kreslava.

Let me know if I can help you with anything else.
