| Bio and Links | I loved jigsaw puzzles as a kid and genealogy became my jigsaw puzzle as a teenager. My mother got me hooked and I've been doing it for more than 40 years. My direct lines include Barnes, Bleger, Bradley, Hall, Israel, Law, Nichols, Ow and Watkins. In 2009, I began documenting and photographing the graves at Mt. Elliott Cemetery, the oldest cemetery in Detroit. There are an estimated 75,000 to 100,000 people buried at Mt. Elliott and while my efforts will not document everyone, I am trying to do my part to memorialize those who are buried there. If you have a correction, addition, relationship link or biographical information to add to one of my memorials, please click on the edit tab and choose the Suggest a Correction option. I will do my best to make changes as soon as possible.

 | Justine Moran Thank you for the cemetery info. I deleted Justine's memorial. I believe I got the cemetery info from her death certificate, which was obviously incorrect. Rosalie

 | Re: Emma Etheridge Thank you for the plot information and for taking the photo of her headstone. I'm certain we aren't making any trips up that way so this is the only opportunity to see the final resting place of these Moran cousins.

 | Dennis Murphy Thank you for the pictures. It appears there is more writing on the headstone. Is it legible? Can you decypher it? Just wondering. It would be helpful to know what it says, if anything.
Thanks! Bobbi | | | Dan Phelan
 | Joseph Weber photo Hi Debbie, thanks so much for the photo of Joseph Weber's grave--and his wife's. Although it may not be the Joseph Weber I'm hunting for, it at least helps me rule out that one that I thought was him. Dan Phelan Baltimore, MD | | | Lisa Haerens
 | Lachowski - Thank You! Debbie, thanks for visiting the Lachowski resting place in Mt. Elliott again and capturing a photo of the area they are in. I knew there were no grave markers, but the it sure is really, really nice having a picture of the area. I appreciate your time, Thank you! Lisa | | | Kati McSweeney
 | Lomay Scherer @ Mt Elliott Hi Debbie,
Thanks so much for letting me know that Lomay Scherer has no tombstone at Mt Elliott Cemetery.
I've posted that info on both her memorial page at Find A Grave and on her page in my family tree at Ancestry.com so other researchers won't request a tombstone photo.
THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE!
Best Wishes, Kati McSweeney in southern CA | | | Véronique Stoffel
