Hello, I'm from Tomah, Wisconsin. Born and raised here. So most of my family lived around this area, but they are hard to find.
Linenberg-Loasching-Eirschele-Jirschele-Mistele.are just a few i'm having problems with.
I have done alot of crafts and things, but i think i love walking thru Cemeterys and talking with them the best, they are very good listeners! They dont always answer, but i have had a few things that make me wonder. When you cant find someone, and you say something out loud. And a squirrel runs by, and sits on a headstone, you walk that way, and the one you want is very close.
RE: Reuben Marten You're very welcome, I was in the area and went to check on whether I could get a nicer temporary photo and noticed his wife's beautiful flower bouquet was there and in great condition considering it was there probably for a day or two since the burial. I'll check on it in the spring since it takes some time for the inscription. If I forget and it's not posted by Memorial Day please remind me, OK?
Reuben E Marten Hi again, I just saw that his wife, Katharina was recently deceased and that's why there was a heating element over the grave-to melt the frost so they could dig there. Please let me know ASAP whether you'd like me to post the temporary photo or you'd like me to unclaim the request. I cannot reclaim it if that's the case so someone else will have to get the photo but I will keep checking to see whether I can get a nice photo of both sides if you want me to. If the equipment is gone and there is a fresh coat of snow I may get a nice photo but otherwise I'll have to wait until spring when they lay sod and it looks nice.
Photo Request Would you please post the grave photo you added to memorial 98270584 for Alma Jeatran on the new memorial 154234285 I just added for her husband James. James is actually buried in a different cemetery; see memorial 46631094.
I'm submitting a request to Find a Grave so they will designate the new memorial 154234285 as a cenotaph. If you would like to manage the new cenotaph memorial, please let me know.
I see you have attached a Phyllis Mae Jones Jensen as a spouse to Jens Martinus Jensen. He was my Great Grand Uncle and one of my immigrant ancestors. I wasn't aware of him being married to a Phyllis Mae Jones Jensen. Do you have any information on their marriage?
I know he married a Marianne "Minnie" Hansen in 1901 while he was living in Chicago. She died in Chicago in 1909.
I think he married a Gunda Alida Silversen in 1912 but they divorced in 1916
He then married a Anna Gertrude Solskjar in 1917. As far as I knew this was his last marriage as she died in 1961 and is buried next to him in the St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery at Shennington.
Let me know if you have any other information on her so I can confirm she is attached to him correctly.
Naparlinski, Marie # 82810785 Leon Cem Was pleased to find my cousin Marie in the Leon Cemetery. Thanks for putting her on the site. Her husband is there also - Eugene Naparlinski who was born in Poland, in 1911 and died in 1966. Her Mom and Dad are there also- Sadie (Tillman) Austin # 82851121 and Ernest Austin # 82850747. You were the fine photographer to put them there also. I would love it if you would tie them all together as a family. Thanks for your good work in helping us far away. LizB In Colorado
