|Priscilla Hataway||RE: Patterson family|
Hello! Lessie is my great grandmother. My maternal grandfather is her son, John Ralph Tillman. I have many photos of Lessie taken throughout her life. The photos and descriptions on the back of the hand carved frames are all I have of AB and Mary.
|Norman Daniels||William Thomas Gardner|
I am Norman Daniels and my Grandfather and Grandmother are William Gardner and Cynthia Henderson Gardner. My mother was their eldest child and she is not listed under either of the memorials. I ask you to turn over the management to me of the Garners as their are more children to add and also more information. I thought I had "fixed" this about a couple of years ago. My mothers name was Lorene Gardner Daniels. Most of the Garner family is buried at Courtland Cemetery. There is only one of their children still living.
Let me know if you need more info. Thanks

Hello, I'm wondering if you're related to his wife Nancy Hart Houston. I'd like to find out if she is my GGGrandmother who was Agnes Nancy Lockard from Ohio. She married Hugh Henderson then married William Hart...all in Hopkins county. Any info would be greatly appreciated and have a great day! Lena

May I have permission to use your grave photo of Elmo Martin in my private family tree?
Thanks for the info on the other memorial for Michael Mead. The Ovid Cemetery online burial records do not include Michael. I'll check in with the person who posted the newer memorial to see where she or he found this information.
I really appreciate your taking the time and effort to let me know about this. Thanks!

|Martha Green Stevens||David Lee Green|
Buried in the Cumby Cemetery. David Lee is my grandfather. I contributed his picture for this page. My father, Gaston Milford Green was the informant on the death certificate of David Lee Green. I just wanted to let you know that as I look at the death certificate it does agree with the headstone that the date of death is December 5, 1839. The attending physician states that he last him alive on Dec. 3rd through Dec 5th.
I just wanted to drop this line for the benefit off other researchers. Thank you so much for the time that you put into helping families remember their ancestors.
If by chance you come across any grave for James Green and Ellen Finley, the parents of David Lee Green I would greatly appreciate this information. My father states in David Lee Green's death certificate that his father was James Nathaniel Green and mother Eliza Ellen Finley. In my research, I have found that a James WILSON Green married Eliza Ellen Finley. This name fits with all the census of that time. James was born in 1839 in Georgia and died October 1879 in Hopkins County, TX Eliza Ellen Finley was born about 1842 and died before June of 1872. They had three boys, Wilson Allen Green, David Lee Green, and James Nathaniel Green.
Wilson and David are also buried in he Cumby Cemetery and James is buried in Wheeler County, Texas. I only know that Ellen died before 1872 because James Wilson Green remarried in 1872. He was blind and sometimes called Blind Jim Green. I am sorry to leave such a long message but I am hoping that maybe someone knows or has seen where they may have been buried.
Thank you again! I am sorry if I have given you too much information.
Martha Green Stevens
Thank you for the info on Nard Hogan, it has been processed. If he is any relation to you, let me know and I would be glad to transfer him to you!
|June Ford||montreville willis|
I believe this man is related to my Willises; certainly well acquainted, & I'm trying to figure out what was going on with the various Willises in NW MO 1830-50. I know more about Montreville's family than I do about my own, and have a copy of depositions from the family when his brother Merrill died. I've been looking for a Mary Shultz who left a query with the Clay Co MO historical society in 1997, with no success. Your records are interesting to me as well, although I couldn't connect anything. Montreville had a sister who married a Lile, and I have Green & Garrett ancestors whose Cook descendant married Frances Cates, daughter of Nancy (Willis) Cates. Nancy was daughter of Catherine Willis, which is my big puzzle; Catherine & Ann (mother of Montreville) lived in Rochester Twp, Andrew Co MO in 1850 with some of their children.
|Calcat||Elizabeth (Price) Nutting|
Hi there - Awhile back, you had me do a link for Elizabeth Price Nutting to her father. Is Elizabeth a family member of yours? If so, I'd be happy to transfer her to you if you want. Just let me know. Her memorial is 70671115.
