I am a long time resident of Farmers Branch (far north Dallas) and will be glad to take digital photos of any existing graves in this area. I have been a genealogist since college and love it. I am still searching for the grave of my great-grandfather William A. Lemmons / Lemons who died around 1917. He has been hard to trace with moving around often from AR to LA to TX to OK. Who knows where he died? Last child was born in Mena, AR but they may have been living in TX when he died. One aunt said he died in Willis, OK. Hmm...the hunt goes on...|

|Don Burris||watt family|
Glad that the info was of help. I am pretty certain that Samuel & spouse are buried in Edmonson county, which is a very short distance from the Watt/Flora Cemetery. I have a copy of the original deed as well. Samuel moved right after he sold the property to John in 1804/5 and died there in 1826? I searched the cemetery for any other stones and located 15 that were buried below ground bu, none for Samuel. We probed that cemetery quite thoroughly but we surely did miss a few?
|Don Burris||Thomas Keown|
I was just reading your comment regarding the burial location of Thomas. It is a fact that he is indeed buried in this cemetery. However, his exact burial spot is unknown and likely never be known. I organized a restoration of the cemetery in 2010 and it took two years to get it cleared. To honor Thomas, I created a spot that appeared to be without a grave to honor his presence. We held a ceremony in May of 2012 to honor those who are laid to rest there.
Unfortunately, the photo you show was taken before the spring cleaning or, later in the fall as the cemetery is kept clear in the warmer months.
We do continue to probe for buried stones and have found several that are totally unidentified. None suggest that it may be Thomas.
I can answer questions re; the cemetery & it's "Residents", as I am of the Flora family that one owned it all.
Thank you so much for Fannie's headstone photo! You were so kind to take it and post it !

In the event that I have not thanked you, personally, for the transfers that you have provided me with, I wish to do so at this time.
My retirement from all my social and family duties have dwindled down since my health has had the opportunity to allow me to beat my God given expiration date, with the help of family, fantastic physicians and hospital, and the implantation of a pacemaker. Rest is my priority when not doing some physical duties, yet Find A Grave and family ancestry tracing is still fun.
To all my Find a Grave friends, you have all been a tremendous help with your contributions to me and especially to this site.
Happy Easter, be safe, have fun and Thank You.

Hello Nova. Was thinking of you and wishing we would make contact. There is no e-mail address for you on your profile page. Please contact me on mine. email@example.com
I've noticed that you added a photo of a grave marker for Thomas Keown. I was wondering if you could tell me when this photo was taken? Thomas Keown is my 5th great grandfather and I visited the Watt Cemetery there in Sand Hill and found no such marker. I'm curious to find out who actually identified the grave.
|Austin Davis||Info Request|
Thank you so much for the info on Thos. Jeff Burnham. He is my great x3 grandfather on my mothers side. I'm a descendant of his son David Hillard Burnham (1859-1914). I would be very greateful for anything you can send me regarding his military service. Is there information on which battle he was wounded? My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
I can send you more on my connection to him if your interested.
|Austin Davis||Info Request|
My Name is Austin Davis and I'm researching my family. I am related to Thomas Jefferson Burnham 1825-1890. I found his memorial (#43900647) that you created. There is a brief description of his service in the Confederacy and I'm trying to find where he served. Do you have anymore info on him or do you know where that information came from? I'm grateful for any help.

Found your picture of Hiram Lee Hardegree … is it possible for me to contact Nova A. Lemons and/or Donald F. Scott?
I’d like to use it in publication for a about Hubbard’s Regiment.
Thank you for your time.
