At one time I saw a photocopy of my 3rd great grandmother's grave at Rice Cemetery. I also had a person email me that he ran past the Kinzie stone everyday and he actually thought her husband William Kinzie was buried there. The stone has an inscription that she was the consort of William Kinzie. I beleive the date of her death was 1842. Somewhere there has to be records of her burial at the Rice cemetery. I am thinking she had been moved from another place of burial before coming to Rice Cemetery. William Kinzie is buried in Nebraska, in an unmarked grave at a small country cemetery, not far from where he lived with his son James. The early burial records were destroyed by fire. Can anyone find the plot. On one webiste, it mentioned #195 for Rebecca and William Kinzie. | |

Find A Grave Memorial# 13900888
Hi Geoff, You had an old posting for photo request. When I took photo last year, I couldn't find it.
There is now an on going restoration project in Old Cemetery by a distant cousin's wife. If they find Ann and Herbert, I will take photos. They did restore the Crofoot stones, Sally Trowbridge Crowfoot, your 4th great aunt (my 3rd great grandma)and her husband James and daughter Sally. I posted updated photos of those. Any way I will let you know if they find the Trowbridges there.
