Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family history for many years and am fascinated with cemeteries. I love the old headstones. They were so unique.

I started adding information to F.A.G. from obituaries my aunt had kept on people she knew. It progressed into trying to complete as many cemeteries in the area as I could.

If I have created a memorial for one of your family members; please let me know and I will transfer it to you.

I don't mind my headstone pictures being used; but, I would appreciate being asked first and to be given credit for taking the picture. It is only common courtesy. I spend a lot of time and gas in documenting the rural cemeteries in this area and don't appreciate those who think I am petty because I expect to be given credit for the work I do.

With the new "Edit" function, I can't guarantee the accuracy of the information on my memorials anymore. It has it's good and bad points.

RE: Matilda Richey
Matilda A Richey (maiden name) m. Amos Bennett. Information from Family Record Book compiled by Buel Richey (Midland,KY, Muhl.Co) b. 6/4/1908 d. 4/12/1982 (buried Mt Pisgah Cem., Muhl Co.)

Is this the info you needed? Mr.Richey's Family Record Book has many pages of references from family and cemeteries he visited personally, mostly in Muhl. Co. The book has been continued by his son and grandson.

Hi Linda,
some additional info about Anna. Her father is Abner N Meek; he died in December 1920 and is buried in the Okmulgee Cemetery. A cousin who lives in Okmulgee gave me that information, and I called and they confirmed it. I can't find him in F.A.G.
In the 1900 census she is living in Cloud Chief, Washita County, OK, next to her father Abner N Meek and his 3rd wife Martha (she is single and 28 years old).
Thanks for the work you do.

William J Rico suggestion
Linda, You made an Edit suggestion to me regarding a memorial page on William J Rico, buried at Granite City Cemetery in Oklahoma. I'm not sure I understand the suggestion. Can you contact me at my e-mail to explain it. Sorry!

Thanks for the message regarding John Lyons birth and death dates. I had found the correct dates but had not gone to find a grave to change them.

Dear Linda Cardenas:

Thank you for your advance permission to use any photographs which might pertain to my Cheadle Family Tree. He is the 5th great grandchild of the progenitor, George Chedel/Cheadle. I just wanted to let you know that I believe in giving credit where credit is due and usually use "Courtesy, Linda Cardenas, contributor, Find A Grave Memorial # ? ? ?" If you do not wish credit, I use "Courtesy of Find A Grave contributor who wishes to remain anonymous." I would appreciate hearing from you personally but, should I not by May 20 I will assume you have no objections. At 86 I so appreciate the passion and commitment of Find A Grave contributors. It just isn't possible for me and my husband to travel and do this for ourselves. Many thanks from an old lady!

RE: Emma
Emma Jackson "Bessie" was my father-in-laws grandmother. Jackson was her middle name because Trimble was her maiden name.
If you look closely at the photo of Bessie's headstone are the initals E.J. just above her name.
There are 5 generations in my husbands family that are buried in this cemetery.
