Researching Horton's, Marshall's and all related families. We live in the Crystal Coast area of North Carolina. Besides genealogy, we are very involved in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. I had FAG transfer all of Becky's memorials to me in 2011 as she has passed away. There were over 20,000 of them so forgive me if I haven't gotten them all updated/corrected. There are many with mistakes. Please let me know if you find one using the EDIT TAB feature and I'll get it corrected. Many of them are off a few days for the death date. If they are buried in Pulaski Co, Va, check out Pulaski County Library System for more complete information and let me know. If you see a memorial that you'd like to manage, just let me know your relationship to that person and I'll transfer it to you. Please use the EDIT TAB to request transfer. Thanks, Becky, for all your hard work. Tombstones are "More than a Name on a Wall" as sung by The Statler Brothers in the song by the same title. From Find A Grave's FAQ..."The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, REGARDLESS of who created the memorial or who maintains it". For all my Marshall family, we now have a Facebook page. See Jacob Marshill for family pics and other genealogy info there. Thanks, Denise<><|

I checked both memorials and the other memorial is in a different location entirely. The memorials I added was in the correct place. You'll have to sort it out.
|Leslyn Lang||Carlin Courtney memorial|
Mary Edgar passed away. She didn't have a pic of the tombstone and changes can't be made. I added a duplicate memorial to show the pic.

I don't want to submit a correction, I want it transferred to me. Do you have an issue with the transfer?

I don't see a "transfer to" selection on the Edit tab. I'd like to have the memorial transferred to me if possible. My ID is #47372233

If you want to transfer Eugene to me, that would be great. He was married to an aunt and is the father of one of my cousins.

|Michael Garnett McGrady||Death of Cecil Clarence Dickens|
Hi, Denise. Cecil Dickens died on 6 May 2016. He was the husband of Mary Lee Faddis Dickens who predeceased him on 19 Apr 2012 and is buried at Oakland United Methodist Church cemetery in Galax, VA. Would you please connect him to her. I'm sorry I don't do this often enough to correctly do it. /// Sorry for the bother, Mike

Thank you so much for transferring my 3rd great grandfather to me! I really do appreciate it. I've made a few updates already and I'm trying to link the rest of the family to him.
|Carol T. Horton||Horton Family|
I am researching my husband's Horton family from Carroll Co, Virginia and would love any info and photos from anyone. Especially photos! I also would like to know more about the ancestors of Jacob Horton. I have checked this site and the 1900 census. Seems to be:
1) ? Horton
2) Jacob Horton
3) Eli Horton b. 1857
3) Charles E. Horton b. 1879
4) Charles H. Horton b. 1915 (my father-in-law)
