Bio and Links
Bio Photo For a Christmas present, I decided to give my daughters and niece a photo album of relatives for a keepsake. When I visited a family cemetery to take photos of markers, I felt surrounded by a lot of love. Everywhere I looked, there were babies who never grew to be an adult. There was my great grandfather, then a great-great grandfather, and the more I dug into the census and the more questions I asked, the more familiar these people became to me. A relative came up with a family tree, tracing our Warren family back to England. I found a great grandfather near my grandfather in a cemetery that the family had visited so many times but no one had ever noticed him. Everyone has been to visit him, now, paying the respects that were long overdue. Beside him, his wife, three sons and a daughter are buried.

I enjoy going to different cemeteries in our area and putting families together. The babies who have no parents with them catch my attention. When I list them, I hope someone finds them and adds them to their family. If I list someone who isn't a family member, I check out the census and our local history books to see if I can find something out about them. My mother has been a tremendous help, as she can recall so many details about these people and the life they lived. My husband has been there with me, wading through stickers, mosquitoes and the Texas heat.

If I have made any mistakes, please let me know. If I have listed your family member, I will be glad to transfer them and let you add them to your listings. I know how important family is to family. Speaking of family, I am researching the Warren , Knapp, Peace, Boydstun, (Boydston), French, Barnett, Carroll and Brim families and families of Navarro Co., Texas.

Mattie Jane (Honeycutt) Vyers
I saw her as married to Love Vyers, in the Pattison cemetery near Emhouse, TX. Can you provide more info on her? I also can't find any solid documentation on the name of Love Vyer's mother.

My great grandfather (Charlie Barlow) was Love Vyers half-brother. All genealogy research on Charlie hits a wall, largely due to confusion with Charles Pinkney Barlow of Kerens, Tx.

Anyone with info and documentation, please inform me.

RE: Melissa Pierson Warren
I understand, do you know anything about the other siblings are her mother. I know the Ancestry.com info on the marriage record came from my files years ago, when I started my research in the 1980's I spent many days in the Fort Worth Library. In 1955 I lived and married in Abernathy, TX. their was a Pierson family there that was friends with my family, They knew that each had a grandpa named Wayman Pierson from TN but it was when I did my research that I connected the two family's, then in the early 1980's I found the 2nd family, The grand daughter of Emma Pierson came to Denison, TX and meet uncle Ben, my mother and me, her son brought her, it was quite a visit, history was made. Uncle Be Pierson has a grand daughter her name is Liz Reedy. I don't know how Wayman left tw other family's to start a new one. My grandfather did the same with my grad mother Malinda. Thanks Luteen By the way I run the copy of the Warren family off.

The headstone in Dresden shows her to be buried there with my Grandfather, but she is buried in Houston with her brother.

Find A Grave Memorial# 105973281
Karen,
I am looking for a descendant of my Great Great Grandfather, Fielding Jones. He was married to July "Lucy" Miller. Luther Freeman Jones was one of his children. In the 1870 US Census, it shows that Luther F. Jones was 7 years old. I do not have any other information on him.

I am searching on 1863 as the year of his birth and found this Memorial. It lists his wife. Do you know anything about him? Or have an Obituary or anything?

If he is my relative, I sure would be thrilled. But? I don't have any information one way or the other.

Please help!!
