Trying to track down Ward Family of Hardin Co. Ohio for a family reunion next year. We have been doing small reunions now for the pass three years and want to get more of the cousins. If you know of anyone that's a Ward from Hardin county Ohio, David and Margaret Stober Ward's children: Harold, David Merle, William Eugene, Rose McClure, Catherine, Robert, and Edward... send me a message/email so we can get everyone that wants to come.|
Strangers in the Box
By Pamela A. Harazim
Come, look with me inside this drawer, In this box I've often seen, At the pictures, black and white, Faces proud, still, serene. I wish I knew the people, These strangers in the box, Their names and all their memories Are lost among my socks. I wonder what their lives were like.
How did they spend their days? What about their special times? I'll never know their ways. If only someone had taken time To tell who, what, where, when, These faces of my heritage Would come to life again. Could this become the fate
Of the pictures we take today? The faces and the memories Someday to be tossed away? Make time to save your pictures, Seize the opportunity when it knocks, Or someday you and yours could be
The strangers in the box.
If there are any graves that I have put on here that are in your family lines and you want them I will Transfer them. With the understanding that I would like to keep my family lines. I love going to cemeteries and I feel if we dont get the information from their graves now that they maybe lost. Within my short time of doing these photos and graves, I have seen with my own eyes some of these graves are unreadable now. But these pictures have brought them back to life. Find a grave has guideline that in which you can ask for a transfer.
I am doing family genealogy on the DeVore, Kirk, Clark, Ward, Messenger, these are the main ones...

I am inquiring about your memorials for Francis #72202826 & Charlotte Holmes Ward #72202826. I am looking for an obituary for them and called the cemetery to get a month and day of their deaths. They are telling me they can find them buried there. Could you tell what information you have on their burial? I am related to Charlotte's sister Nackey. Thanks Donna #47988009 email@example.com

Maggie -- I am writing to ask if you would please consider amending your note on David Messenger's memorial, (#19690331). Abiah King was not David's mother. While it is true that Nathaniel Messenger eventually married Abiah King (she was his 3rd wife), their marriage took place in 1797 when he was 71 and she, the widow of Joseph King, was 67. Not only well past child birthing age, but also well after David's documented birth year of 1760. I would be pleased to share any documentation you feel you would need to be convinced. I do appreciate you correcting the record. Thank you so much. Gayle
