"We Are The Story Tellers ……We are the chosen. My feelings are, in each family, there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve. To me, doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but, instead, breathing life into all those who have gone before. We are the storytellers of the tribe. All tribes have one. We have been called, as it were, by our genes. Those who have gone before cry out to us: Tell our story."|

Thank you very much for updating her memorial.

Yes, I am on Facebook. You can find me with my email or by name: firstname.lastname@example.org or Joy Steele.

You did a great job adding all those memorials and photos last year. It's not surprising to duplicate one from another contributor when adding so many at once. I'm always happy to have and "editor" on anything I add. Thanks for all you've done for Society Baptist's data. I need to go back over there some time and retake photos of those markers that face west instead of east. Since that means after 1 pm, I'm waiting for cooler weather!
You make a great partner in this work.

It takes all of us for sure. I have a very clear photo from nearly two years ago that shows the name better. Would you like that one added to the memorial, too?
Keep in touch.

Grace, thank you again. I'm gradually learning the ropes, and was able to add a few links, input other family under the bio section and add the one missing link, since you and John Saratoga had already done so much for me yesterday, that was still needed. So I'm going to do my best to keep it up. I am just so very grateful you found GW Rabb, Sr.'s cemetery information and created the memorial for me! That was, as we say, a true mitzvah. Thank you.

Grace, thank you so very much for transferring My G Grandfather's record to me! That was so gracious of you. I really appreciate it.
And thank you for all you have done and continue to do to keep memories alive and information available to all of us. I know it requires tremendous dedication to have accomplished as much as you have, and those of us thousands of miles from our homes are the beneficiaries of your hard work.
All my best to you,

re Campbell Cemetery
There is no longer a cemetery to speak of there. My understanding is that people were moved elsewhere. As of now there are a few foot stones and perhaps some fragments of headstones.
Of the 5 memorials for this cemetery William Campbell is the only one that most likely have ever been there.
The two Finches are in a different Campbell cemetery in another county.
Batchelor and Stenson (related by marriage to one of my distant cousins) are buried in Hope Cemetery in Corning NY. They are originally from Campbell NY where there is also a Hope Cemetery. I think the person who made those two memorials got mixed up. They were both buried in the 1980s and 90s. There have not been burials in Campbell cemetery on Field Road that recently.
I have some information I got from the town records when I was there. I can scan it and send it to you. It will not be for a week or so since I am in Kansas and the information I need is home in New York.
