Deweese
Hi, I am researching in Franklin County IN and have found a Rev. Louis Deweese buried there. Are you by any chance relation to this man? Would you know his children's names? I have found an Elias Bradford who married a Synia/Cynthia Deweese in Bartholomew County IN and since the Bradford family was in Franklin County IN thought maybe this Synia/Cynthia Deweese may be Rev. Louis Deweese's daughter or relation of some sort. I thank you for any help you can give me on this family ---if you know anything at all about them.

Bonnie & Clyde,

Some time ago I sent you an email concerning the memorials that you entered in;
Embry Cemetery,Grancer,Butler County,Kentucky

Richard Brooks Memorial# 133875320
Vena Jean Cardwell Brooks Memorial# 133875120

They are both buried in Jess Embry Cemetery,
Welchs Creek, Butler County, Kentucky, USA

In Sept. 2014 I went to Jess Embry Cemetery, took photos of all the headstones there. After doing searches for each one and finding no memorials,I entered memorials for the whole cemetery.

Since I have not had a reply from you, I am leaving this message asking you to delete these memorials since they do not meet find a grave guidelines. If you wish, I will transfer the correct ones to you.

Re # 134079800: I believe you have mistakenly identified his mother as Mary Smith #28712293 instead of Elizabeth Harrington #28712257.

Elizabeth was the first wife of Evan and died 1835.

Let me know if you don't agree.
Thank you.

I've added obits to some of the Dewees burials in Parkersville Meeting. You may be interested in those additions.

You left flowers on one of the entries, which prompted this message.

Wennie Renfrow and Lafe Renfrow
I would love it if you would transfer the memorial of Lafe and Wennie Renfrow as they are my grandparents my mother Judy Lou (Renfrow) Moore their middle child. They had three daughters their oldest is Yvonne who resides in Bowling Green and their youngest Lois who lives in Washington State and my mother who resides in Campton. If not that's ok but if you would Wennie's maiden name is Guffy not Minton she is the daughter of Elbert C. Guffy and Lucy Satterfield Guffy.

I see she is your 9th Great Aunt. I guess that makes us related, she is my Paternal 7th Great Grandmother.

Hello from Michigan, I have a question on wife#2 Polly Johnson. My Mary Polly Johnson m. possibly Thomas? Johnson and her son Nathan Thomas Johnson b. 1820 Barren Co KY.

On my copy of a hand-written note, Nathan's marriage consent is signed by her: "Edmonson County KY,I do hereby certify that my consent is given to the marriage of my son Nathan Johnson and the Clerk of Barren County Kentucky authorized to give him license to marry Martha Grinstead. Given from under my hand this 7th of January 1840" signed Mary Willis and witnessed my hand X Henry Willis and Asbury Willis. I think I can safely say these are the same Mary Johnson.

Do you have any other information on Mary - particularly her maiden name? or parent's names? Nathan and Martha (Grinstead) Johnson are grandparents to my Grampa Claude Johnson of Barren Co KY. (my grandmother's m.#2) Claude is bur. Glasgow Municipal Cem KY meml #92302831 on findagrave.

Thank you for your consideration. Janice

Waters Farmer DeWees
You duplicated him and put his memorial in the wrong cemetery, his Tombstone and other memorial is in Mary's Saint Mary's Episcopal Church Cemetery, Warwick, Chester Co., Pennsylvania.
You need to delete your memorial as it is wrong, or ask the other girl to transfer him to you. But she entered the correct Wife on her Memorial which is Ann Bull, you have Ann Jacobs, Levi Bull's wife, also remove her from your memorial as his Waters DeWees wife. Please Correct. It is confusing to someone who doesn't know what the correct wife is. What goes on the internet stays and people just don't research and find out what is correct they see it on a website and believe it is correct.

Ann Jacobs
I think you need to research again, Ann Jacobs married Levi Bull, married and was born March 15, 1789 in Chester County, PA.
Levi Bull's sister was Ann Bull she was born Feb. 11, 1776 in Somerset County, PA. She married Waters DeWees June 14, 1796 in St. James Episcopal Church, Perkiomen.

Ann Jacobs was even born in 1776, she was born in 1789 she married Levi Bull March 31, 1808 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. In all my 20 years Thomas Bull middle name was not Thomas Pawling Bull, maybe you saw this on a website. This information is all documented. I hope you correct your records and information on Find A Grave as Ann Jacobs was not married to Waters DeWees, it was Ann Bull.
