Here is what this lady is saying
Thanks for responding, Janet. Yes, I've done a good deal of genealogical research over the years as well as work for Find A Grave. Unfortunately, what you are providing me is a conclusion, not proof. The proof, so far, lies with the memorial I've created (152605931) -- (1) citation from the Putnam Co. Library via the historical society and (2) a photo of the engraved marker. The marker clearly states, "Sarah, wife of William." Additionally, I've researched the name Cassandra and haven't found a single source that cites Sarah as a nickname. I am aware mistakes are made on all kinds of records; on grave markers; and even on Find A Grave memorials, but Memorial #152605931 currently is consistent with existing records. Again, if you have proof that the memorial you've created is correct and that Cassandra and Sarah are the same person, I'll be happy to delete the one in error. Simply stated, it would appear at this time that the memorial you've created (20304756) for Cassandra is wrong. I am reluctant to delete a memorial that appears to be correct. I hope this can be worked out. Regards.
Thank you for all you work for these memorials. It is greatly appreciated. And thanks for sharing freely!
