I want to express my thanks to everyone who has sent corrections and additional information to me concerning my entries on Find-A-Grave. I hope everyone doesn't think I am rude for not getting back to them and thanking each individual one. There are only so many hours in a day. |
Rather than creating a duplicate memorial of a memorial someone else has already entered, why not contact that person and ask them to either edit their entry or at least transfer that memorial to you.
Please, if anyone discovers a mistake in my entries or have any information to add, delete, or would like a transfer of a memorial please contact me through Find A Grave or send me an email.
Please feel free to copy photos I've added on Find A Grave.com for your own family history records. It is not necessary to contact me directly for permission, but please indicate that I provided the photo and that it is being used with permission.

|Jean J||Anna Carry Jones|
Also, I believe Anna, or Mary Ann Cairy, actually died just a short time after her marriage, so I believe this tombstone reads, Jan. 8, 1897. Jean Johnson

|Jean J||Anna Carry Jones info|
Hello Thomas: thank you so much for this information. This lady's name (who was the daughter of my ggg grandfather, Thomas Cairy & his wife Mary Ann), was really Mary Ann Cairy (not Carry). Wow! and it got on her tombstone like this. Anyway, she was also born in 1878, and not 1879, so I submitted an edit for review. I am happy to have found Mary Ann.
Jean Johnson, cousin to Mary Ann CAIRY.

|Susan Mohr||Christina (Mohr) Brunning 1873-1929|
Christina (Mohr) Brunning was my husband's great aunt. She was born and died in Jackson County, Iowa. Her parents were Hans Mohr 1845-1928 and Caroline (Plough) Mohr 1852-1920. She had eight brothers and seven sisters, whom I can name if you are interested. I have studied this family extensively. Incidentally, in addition to their own four children, Christina and husband Edward Brunning also raised Edward's third cousin Cyrene Krabbenhoft from the time she was a little girl after the child's mother passed away.

First I would like to thank you for all your work that you do to help people in the ancestry quest. I realize it is a daunting task and mistakes can be made. I would like if you could correct the entry for my sister, Billie Jean "BJ" Lineberry. She is buried in St. John's Lutheran Cemetary in Bellevue Iowa. Also you have her as Billie Jean "jb" Lineberry but it is BJ.
Thank you for your time!
Keep up the good work!!!

Also please note that her death date has been transposed and should be 1897, not 1987.

Have you noticed that Find a grave is sending you the edits in a pre entered form now? I missed them at first too. there is a tab at the top of your home page where you review and accept or deny them. I had sent you some that you have not gotten to yet. It simplifies our edits but I forget to check them! Thanks, Rosalie
