Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have researched my family lines: Venable, Forman, Crumpton, and Pullen/Pullin and related families with Alabama ties, along with my husband's family lines, Phillips, Cornelius and related families. Also researched the non-related Inzer line from St. Clair Co., Al. I have been doing research for 40 years or more and have enjoyed every minute of walking through cemeteries from South Carolina to Texas. Also, going through old probate records in dusty court house basements and now through the internet. It has been an enjoyable ride. The thrill of finding that missing piece of the puzzle is awesome. Due to health reasons, I no longer do much cemetery walking, but still have the desire, and make short visits when able. Find-A-Grave has been a most enjoyable site for me to visit and I have found numerous missing persons here. To see a picture of a loved ones memorial is the next best thing to being there.
An event close to my heart was the disappearance of the U.S.S. Cyclops, March, 1918, in the Bermuda Triangle. There were 4 Alabama sailors aboard. No trace of the ship has been found to date. A distant cousin, Forman "Austin" Mize was aboard this ship. These 4 sailors are listed in my virtual cemetery "USS Cyclops".
God Bless all who contribute and share their hard work.

Katie Peoples
Thank you for all the research you did to confirm her maiden name. I really appreciate it. I have changed her middle name to Lee and her maiden name to Duckett on her memorial and made a note in the bio section that the name Katie Cade Peoples is on her gravestone.

She is buried at a cemetery in Trussville, AL so next time I'm in that area, I'll stop by the funeral home there and see if their records indicate from where the name Cade came. Maybe they have a form that shows it as her middle name or her name from a previous marriage. Again, thank you for taking the time to do so much research.

Thanks for the info about Katie and her husband. Her gravestone says Katie Cade Peoples, so if Duckett is her maiden name, then I wonder what Cade is. Maybe a middle name or a married name from a previous marriage? I will research her a bit more and try to find out.

Forever Memories
Donald Banks
I received your email about Alta being linked as spouse. I did not add the link for spouse, someone else did. Thank you for calling attention to this. Have a blessed day.

Find A Grave contributor Betty Venable Phillips has made a suggestion to you
regarding your Find A Grave memorial for Donald Banks.

Their suggestion:
You are suggesting that Alta Banks is the spouse of Donald Banks, when this is
his mother. In the obituary his wife is listed as "Mary" and may not be
deceased as yet. Just thought you would like to review this.
Thanks for all you do for Find-A-Grave. These memories will be cherished
God Bless

RE: Jackson Photos
You are very welcome It was a pleasure to help you with this. It is my goal to help as many as possible find their lost loved ones. They are hard to find in that Cemetery if it wasn't for a transcript listing them in order you could spend a lot of time walking that cemetery
