I am working on entering all graves in the Rhinebeck Cemetery that are listed in the two comprehensive books compiled by Arthur C.M. Kelly of Kinship, Rhinebeck, NY http://www.kinshipny.com/|
- Rhinebeck, New York : death records of the 18th and 19th centuries by Arthur C.M. Kelly.
- Rhinebeck Association Cemetery : 20th century deaths / transcribed and indexed by Arthur C. M. Kelly.
Both of these books correct errors that are found an older publication of the cemetery records - Old gravestones of Dutchess County, New York / nineteen thousand inscriptions collected and edited by J. Wilson Poucher, M. D. and Helen Wilkison Reynolds.
As I work my way around the cemetery I am photographing as many headstones that I can find. I am also adding any interments that are not listed in the Kelly book, basically those after 1999.
I have two databases of interment records for the Rhinebeck Cemetery. I will be adding some of this information to existing records and adding records for those who are interred but who do not have a headstone.
I am happy to transfer management of any record not in my family. Photos can be copied freely for private use.

Hi Beverly -
I have a question for you. I just found a distant cousin of mine (and his wife) buried in this cemetery. See Find A Grave Memorial# 92431866
Is this the actual burial headstone of his grave (and several others) in this cemetery? I thought it might be a memorial of some kind. Forgive my lack of knowledge but I'm not familiar with either.
Thank you much for the additional photos & information!
Thank you for the great photos of these great stones! Their family history must have been important to them too. May we please use your photos with credit to you on our private family tree? Thank you so much for making these memorials & all your contributions to FindaGrave. Thank you for your consideration.
It was Effie Gilbert Green 122829110. Who is Marquardt?
Gilbert was Effie's married name by her first husband, her maiden name was Olivet, at least by my research (she's a 3d cousin).
I also have the DOB/DOD now:
08 Jul 1890 in Staatsburg, Dutchess, New York, USA
17 Jun 1976 in Winter Park, Orange, Florida, USA
All the records have matching dates with Effie Olivet/Gilbert/Green, so I've got her doc'd pretty well. Chris :)

Just wondering what is the source for his parents. I descended from another in this family but I do not have him on my list.
I did not put the parents with Alexander... E. S. Saar did...
