It is important that we remember those who have lived before us for they have, in many ways, prepared us for who we are today.|
Family names Lark, Dee, Heiman, Housman, Loper.
I have a very special spot in my heart for veterans and members of law enforcement. I believe it is important to support our police officers and troops.
I believe every memorial should have a virtual flower. When I see one without, I add one; it's an honor to leave my respects. That person was once loved and cherished by someone, somewhere.

Looks pretty correct to me! The records in the teens at Oak Hill are kind of wonky. I don't have a marker for this one so I would assume it is not marked or the marker is buried. Thanks for the info! Janis

Thank you so much for the visit for Yannis's Angel day. It made a hard day a little easier to know that so many friends care.

Thank you for documenting St. Trinity. About 2 years ago, my husband and I took pictures of every single gravestone in Lebanon Church of Christ near Mayfield, Graves, KY. Even though we do not live in Kentucky [we live in St. Louis], I wanted to do this because I have several ancestors who are buried there. Believe it or not, there are over 500 stones in Lebanon. In the meantime, I'm updating the burial listing for the cemeteries in the Graves Co KY Cemetery book 1, comparing them to Findagrave, and if they are not listed in Findagrave, I try to list them. Again I want to thank you for documenting St. Trinity. P.S. Are you going to post your photos?

I was going through Officer Ramos' memorial and was looking through the remembrances people have left. Yours was beautiful. He does belong in Heaven and I believe he is there.
Sending sincere thanks and appreciation for your help and kindness. joyce

Been trying forever to find my great-grandmother grave site. She died way before I was born so I never got to meet her.
Thank you for visiting my mom's memorial page and for leaving the lovely token and kind words. Such a beautiful baby in the picture with your mom. Many blessings to you and yours always. Michele.

I just check for posted photo requests on Find A Grave. I am on the Board of Directors for St Trinity and am at the cemetery frequently. I also have access to the interment records and can therefore locate graves more easily.
It is a Painted Bunting and they really are that colorful in real life! I had my first one at my feeder this past winter. For years, I had to go looking for them in my area. Not sure where you live but here is their range map: http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/painted_bunting/id
