Bio

Most of my ancestors were early settlers of Kentucky who migrated from Virginia and Maryland.
Direct line surnames on my father's side include Holsclaw, Snawder, Harshfield, McDaniel, Buckman, Jones, Paulley, and Collins. My father's ancestors settled in Nelson, Bullitt, and Hardin Counties. Some family members later moved to Jefferson County.
Direct line surnames on my mother's side include Dennis, Taylor, Logsdon, Haycraft, Atterberry, Elliott, Wells, Richardson, Saltsman, and Craddock. My mother's ancestors settled in Grayson, Hart, Larue, and Hardin Counties. Some family members later moved to Jefferson County. A few wayward family members crossed the river and settled in Floyd and Harrison Counties in Indiana.

I also like to take time to pay respect and honor all veterans when I visit cemeteries in my area.
