24 years thus far researching the US sloop of war CONNECTICUT, 1798~1808, and her crew. This has spread into genealogical work as I fill out the lives of the relevant individuals, but while I have an extensive library and files on the topic and individuals, I can always use help!|

|Betty L. Schmidt||Thanks for the photo|
Thanks for the photo of John Baker's memorial and the information. It is sad that the stone is so weathered.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Oh what I wouldn't give for photos. Trying to search from Minnesota is hard, but from my understanding the Darlings were big in the boat business in Long Island so maybe I'll give that angle a try

Not related but the Edwards family married into both lines of my family so just tracking the siblings.

Thanks for your efforts and your response regarding stones from Sailors Snug Harbor

the best way to make additions/corrections is to click the edit button on the persons memorial.
This way the holder of the memorial gets email with a link to memorial.
