Bio and Links
Bio Photo The genealogy bug has bit me hard! At least, when I have time to do so! My mother's side of the family is fairly well researched on several lines — all the way back to John Alden on the Mayflower for one line, but my father's side of the family had never been researched. It's led me to "meeting" a second cousin, and fellow Find A Grave member, Carolyn Gardner Sturdy along with two third cousins in other states who've become my friends. Together, we've made a great team chasing one lead or another, chipping away layers of information, to make some wonderful discoveries along the way. So much fun!!

I've created virtual cemeteries of ancestors by family name to help aid anyone researching the same ancestors.

I fully give permission to use any photo I've uploaded in the spirit of sharing family genealogy.

If you wish to send me a private message, please do so via the "Suggest any other…" link under "Edit" on any memorial I manage. Please include your email address for easy reply. Thank you!

Thanks for letting me know. I have sent them in to admin and asked for a merge, in order to not lose any of the virtual flowers that have been left.

Hi Shannon, You are most welcome! I hope you don't mind, but I transferred the memorial to you, since you are related.

Well, I transferred Nellie and her husband, but apparently I don't manage their son's memorial... whoops! I suppose I should check that before offering to transfer, huh? His memorial is managed by this lady:
Her name is Bernice, and I'm sure she would be happy to transfer him to you, if you want to send a message her way :-).

Hi Shannon!

Thanks for the info on Nellie! I reworded her bio to include her parents. If you'd like I can transfer her and her family (husband William #137957906, and son Everett #127426991) to you.

Hi Shannon,

Just curious, on your 3x great grandmother, have you done research on the Webb piece? My grandmother was a Webb. Her parents were Samuel and Agnes Melvina Barnes Webb. They had 3 children Glen, Hattie and Carrie. Samuel's parents were James and Ann Craig. James parents were Robert Scofield Webb and Margaret Ann Harrison. Is there any connection that you can see from this little bit of information? I know there are a bunch of Webb's out there so thought I would ask.

RE: That was fast!
You are welcome. Paul's got a little fuzzy. I can try to retake if / when I'm in that area again. Omard cemetery is about 60 miles away from me.

Just noticed we've been a member of Find A Grave for almost the same amount of time.

Good news. On Richards memorial, I have a group picture. If you click on it, the caption below does show the names of the stones around him. The first one is James. I no longer have the original but I can add this group photo and a cropped version of it. Let me know when you are done creating the memorial.
