Hello, I'm from Tomah, Wisconsin. Born and raised here. So most of my family lived around this area, but they are hard to find.
Linenberg-Loasching-Eirschele-Jirschele-Mistele.are just a few i'm having problems with.
I have done alot of crafts and things, but i think i love walking thru Cemeterys and talking with them the best, they are very good listeners! They dont always answer, but i have had a few things that make me wonder. When you cant find someone, and you say something out loud. And a squirrel runs by, and sits on a headstone, you walk that way, and the one you want is very close. I wish i could fix all the bad headstones, its sad.
My mother is 85 and she loves this too. It's a Mother Daughter thing. | |

 | Lewis H. Rutlind - died 1937, but where? Dear Cindy,
First of all I have to say, I am impressed with your interest in cemetery tombstones. So much interesting information about the past can be found once we know where people are buried, and when this information can be supplemented with other sources.
I have a question about a distant relative of mine from Norway: Lewis H. RUTLIND, buried in the Wyeville cemetery in Monroe Co., WI The stone reads 1858-1937. Lewis was born in Norway Feb. 2, 1859, but emigrated to WI in 1883. My problem is to find Lewis' exact date and place of death. Any way you can help me?
No death record is on file in Monroe Co., WI
No death record is on file in Madison State Vital Records office.
So, he died out of state?
Thanks a million for any help!
