Just wanted to thank you so much for adding the picture of the headstone to the above Memorial for my gr gr grandfather, Erastus Heathman! May I add the picture to my private family tree on Ancestry?

RE: Holton
I would definitely loose interest in that heat. We are around 80 but rain clouds come in the afternoon and cools to 70. We are high here in the mountains of Utah. About 7000 feet above sea level. You must be close to being done. The far section I photoed, I could not read some of the headstones when I returned home. I can not tell you which ones I could not read. Have a great day, Jen

RE: Sarah Chase Williams, Holton Cem.
Thank you so much. I now know who 'Sarah' Williams, daughter of Richard Williams and Sarah 'Sadie' (Chase) Williams married. I appreciate your information very much. Now, if I could just verify the fact that her father, Richard A Williams is buried in this cemetery. I have a memorial for him (147651587) but didn't put it in the Holton Cemetery because I wasn't sure. (I can't wait for basketball season to start!!) Bev

RE: Havensville Cemetery, Deaver, Ellen Ruth
No, I never lived in Iowa. I was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas, and now live in Fallbrook, California. My parents were the ones who did the family history searching; I helped type stuff up for a family reunion in 1977 and now I keep the info up to date and add to it as I find sources, etc., online.

As far as Lester is concerned, I searched for him on Ancestry.com after your previous post and what I gave you was what I found there.

If you knew Charles and Myrtle, you may have heard of Velma and Emil Freienmuth. Those were my parents, and Velma was a Shortridge. Her father and Myrtle's mother were brother and sister.

I found Thomas Lester Deaver in Ancestry.com. His family apparently moved to Washington state between 1930 and 1940 (I found his family in both censuses), and sometime later, he moved to California. He died in Mendocino, CA in 1983. Didn't see a burial place; just found this info right after I got your message.

I also am a KU fan; graduated there in 1960.

She is the sister of Charles Herbert Deaver, who married my cousin, Myrtle McCoy.

I wonder if I may have your permission to use your grave marker and/or cemetery photos on my family website. Check it out at www.freienmuth-shortridge.com/shortridge/cemeteries.html. This is how I'd be using the photos and obituaries I find on Find A Grave, with 'used with permission' in the caption.

Thank you.

I have asked the admins to merge these cemeteries. It usually takes 1-2 weeks. In case I forget, let me know if it does not get done.
