Bio and Links
I recently (end of 2012) joined Find A Grave after finding new information on one of my great-grandfather that I previously had next to no information about.
I became interested in genealogy in high school, about 2005. Recently I passed 2000 members in my Ancestry.com family tree, and traced my maternal grandmother's family back to Winthrop's fleet (with the help of the Finch ancestry webite). I know the struggles of searching for lost information so I wanted to contribute to this database.
I plan on starting by uploading photos for my own family, most of which come from St. Bernard's Cemetery in Waterville, Oneida co. NY. However I love in Rochester NY and would gladly take requests from that area.
Feel free to message or email with any concerns or questions about the memorial, and, as I am a relatively new member, if you feel I can be doing something better.

Hi Patrick. Thank you for your contributions to FindaGrave. May we please use your photos with credit to you on our private family tree? We also may be distant cousins via McDermotts.

Hi!
I have a feeling that the two of us are related somehow. :)
I just found this site and I'm trying to fill in the blanks on some of our family members. I live in Hamilton and it's pretty easy for me to scoot over to Warerville to get some grave stone pictures. Besides a bunch of Barnes', are there others you still needed for the names you end added?

Take care,
Megan Barnes

RE: Finch Genealogy
Hi, Patrick -
Welcome to Find A Grave. My husband is descended from John Finch & Martha Brett, who landed in Stamford, Connecticut with the Winthrop Fleet in 1630. We visited Broome County several years ago -- a fantastic trip (we live in Washington state). I will be most happy to share/trade information with you.
