My grandmother was the first person to interest me in genealogy with all her old family photos and scrapbooks full of newspaper articles. I remember picking the peonies from her garden and then visiting the cemeteries to place them on gravestones.|
This fern peony was grown and nurtured in Rosalie Haymond's garden. After her passing, the peony now has a place of honor in our garden. This peony is now placed on graves out of respect and in remembrance of our ancestors.
There is a special place in my heart for all the infants and children that are the only member/s of their family to be buried at a particular cemetery. Find a Grave is a wonderful way to reconnect these children with their parents and families.
As a way to give back and help other searching families, we walk small cemeteries and then add the names that aren't already on Find a Grave. I photograph all the stones and add the photos to the memorials that are missing photos.

If you are very confident that his gravestone is incorrect, I can change the date on the memorial, but wanted to confirm that you felt strongly about it. Let me know. Rhonda

You are welcome.I was having trouble with light and took most of the pictures at a bad angle, the next time I go there I will try to do some straight on shots if the glare is not bad.

As you can see, I did a little digging. I may go back and probe some more. I identified it from the cemetery book, by which stones he was between.

I was wondering if you could transfer Sarah Delila Packard to me. She is my wife's ggggrandmother and it would mean so much to her. Thank you very much.

I assume you are asking about her maiden name which was also ROBERTS per her childrens' birth records. She was listed as Mary Roberts Roberts in all! I checked just to make sure! Thanks, Nan
