Bio Photo I am recently retired from federal civil service, and my wife is retired from teaching school. We live in the Abilene TX area. We are working on family genealogy and hope to visit all cemeteries where we have relatives buried, at least in the Texas/New Mexico area. Thanks to all of you who have contributed to Findagrave, and we hope to add our contributions as well.

Note: any pictures I have taken may be used for your family tree.

I was just wandering over to see if there were new requests to claim and looks who's claimin' 'em!

Here I thought I was getting myself a new hobby and you are already got it!

Transferral of Memorial
Hello Mr. Faulkenberry,

I e-mailed you several days ago with this same request but haven't heard from you. I hope you are just out of pocket and not ill. (If you are worse than "ill", please disregard the following request!)

I would deeply appreciate your transferring memorial #126204275 for the late Bernhardt Tiede to me. It doesn't appear that any of his surviving family members are interested in maintaining this memorial which is, sadly, lacking in any details of his charmed life.

I assure you that, if you will transfer this memorial to me, I will watch over it with the greatest care. I will also add a biography of him that I formulated, taken from my memory bank and from researching his history.

I studied voice under Mr. Tiede when he was in his first year as chair of the music department at Kilgore College. I admired and respected both Mr. Tiede and his wife, Lela (who preceded him in death when she was only aged 28).

I have always felt that I owed him something for the interest he took in those of us who showed promise in the world of the classical singer. After all these years, this is the only way I know that can even begin to repay him for the interest he took in me and his other students.

I eagerly anticipate hearing from you regarding my request.

Many thanks,
Betty Arnold Henderson contributor #46498020
