I am a retired veteran and genealogist. I work on Fort Knox so I have opportunities to visit some cemeteries on post and in Hardin County, KY.

|Dixie Shacklett Hatfield||Duplicate Memorial|
Hi James, I just received your messages about the duplicate memorial that someone has on one of the memorials someone transferred to me. She has a duplicate on his wife, also. Several years ago I ask the said person to make a correction on a bio on one of my children's Boone ancestors and it was such an unpleasant experience that I have avoided her every since. That's the reason I mentioned her duplicate memorial number and did not contact her about it Thank you for the additional information you sent me and for all your help through the years. Happy Holidays, Dixie

I'm so happy I finally found her headstone and where she's buried. I have her children's names if you can edit the entry. Also, her parents' & grandparents' names. I'm her niece... She's my mother's sister.

Thank you so much for the additional information you found on the Wooldridges who left Kentucky for Missouri. I have added to the memorial, as you suggested.

Thanks, that is good news.
Thank you so much for the photos of Eva and Annie's headstones!!

Probably the confusion stems from census records that are too often incomplete or downright incorrect. For example, in 1870 the census shows her as Trecia and in 1880 as Rose. Anyway, I think it's straight now. I deleted that memorial for Teresa Rose as I don't think this person existed.
