Retired teacher and guidance counselor, maybe this will help me find "something to do" during my spare time. I have more spare time than spare ribs, I promise.|
I live in DeSoto County Mississippi, with access to North Mississippi.
If you find errors or corrections or additions of any kind, please inform me. Sometimes the pictures don't come out real clear and I transcribe as best as I can. Sometimes I just give up and hope to get back and try again.
If I have management of a memorial that you wish to have, message or email me and I will be glad to transfer management unless it is in my genealogy line. If that rarity happens, we'll discuss each situation.

Thanks for transferring my great-grandfather's brother to me. Contributors like you make this a great resource. The last I have heard Orville's wife Edna Lee, whose name is on his grave marker, is still alive (at the age 102) and living in Memphis, Tennessee. Thanks again.

Thank you for your help.

Mimosa - Do you live close to the cemetery? I don't want to cause you any trouble. I live outside of Waco, Texas, but hope to visit Mississippi in the next year.
Thanks for your help. I have had a bit of trouble with this ancestor. It does appear from the picture to have other words on the marker.
For your reference: Memorial# 122680216 in Raymond Cemetery.
I am very excited to have someone help.
Thanks again, Debbie

I found a Benjamin Williams that shows the date of birth and date of death as unknown. It is a very old, very tall marker. I think this is the one for which I am trying to find. However, I cannot find his wife's grave. I think her name was Sarah "Sallie" Herring Williams.
I cannot tell by the picture, but could you possibly tell me if there is a grave next to Benjamin's that is unmarked or could possibly be his wife's grave.
Thank you, Debbie
