A great grandmother trying my best to leave a legacy for my descendants. Hoping not to offend anyone.

THANKS to everyone who has added pictures and information to my memorials, they are very much appreciated...and to those who have left flowers I am grateful. Continue your good work.

Re: William Walton
Peg,
I omitted the DOD, but not sure why. It was just one of those things. I'm glad you caught it. I added it. Thank you so much for all you do for F-A-G and especially for me. You are a gem.

RE: Diffees
I checked with my husband and his John Wilkinson and family didn't come to the US until after the War Between the States, about 1867, so no kinship there. Sorry.

RE: Diffees
Thanks for the explanation. My husband has some Wilkinsons in Indiana from 1867-1890. Are you on Ancestry.com? Do you have a John Wilkinson in your ancestry there?

Diffees
Hi Peg - You've left flashing flowers on some of my relatives graves, so I'm wondering if you are related. Are you in the Diffee line from Somerville/Warren/Oakland area of Fayette County, TN? Thanks.

Thank You
Peg, for your response. Martha Green Hall and her husband Henry W Hall both have lovely tombstones, so they must have had someone survive them. I hope I can find some descendant or an interested party to this family. Shirley.

Martha Green Hall
Dear Peg, You left flowers for Martha Green Hall b at Hill Crest Cemetery, Marshall County, MS. Are you connected to this family? I think her husband Henry was the brother of Thomas Hall, who married a relative, Nancy Adeline Cartwright, of Tippah County. I have been searching for this family for many years. Any information about any of these Halls would be very welcome. Shirley (Cartwright) McKenzie.

North Sawba Cemetery......
Peg,

In response to your suggestion/correction on spelling see this website......

http://www.usgennet.org/usa/ar/county/mississippi/cemetery/sawba/swabaInde.htm

.....it has the history, a KNOWN burial list, Newspaper articles & more.

Also, I believe the full name of the cemetery is "North Chickasawba Cemetery" since it's located within the Chickasawba Township, refer to this website for additional info.....

http://www.histopolis.com/Place/US/AR/Mississippi_County/North_Sawba_Cemetery

......the Histropolis.com website will come in handy for doing other cemetery and township research.

In closing, the actual Obit you are referring to is my Grandfather and there are a number of mistakes made within the text.....a corrected copy can be provided upon request......: )

RE: Eunice Smothers #35128785
Hi Peggy,
It was good to hear from you. I usually confine my picture taking to the Kansas side of the state line, however, I will look for Eunice if I happen to be at Floral Hills. That is a huge cemetery.

So, it looks like our great grandmothers were sisters. I have had very little luck finding information on my great grandmother's husband, Jacob James Hornback. If you would come across anything about him while searching your line I would appreciate it if you would share with me.

Sandy
