Hi My name is Lloyd E. Smith My wife Charlene and I live in Livingston County, Illinois.I retired last May so I spent one day a week taking pictures of grave stones and now that winter is here I make the Memorial pages with gravestone pictures.|
I have a sickness that is called Genealogy I don,t think there is a cure for it. It does help me to handle it if I walk and take pictures in cemeteries and help other people with thier research
My Angel Charlene went to Heaven to be one of God's Angels on March 25 2009 My Angel's ashs are still with me but our grave marker is in the Griffith Cemetery in Fayette County, Illinois I miss her so much Love Always until we meet again your Loving Devil

Once again, you've done a great job taking the photos of these grave markers. I appreciate so much the time and effort this took, to take so many for me. I will never be able to visit these graves in person and this is the next best thing. You are performing a great service to so many. Keep up the good work.
Thank you again for the awesome Shank family photos!.....I have been looking for these for a long time and it feels good to look at them. If you happen to see any other Shank stones in your South Side journeys, I would appreciate if you could add them, since they are the same family. I noticed you did some of that already. Thank you for the thoughtfulness. :) Jessica

Thank you very much for the photo. I visited the Southside cemetery 2 summers ago, when I found out my great-great grandmother's 3 sisters/spouses and son moved to Pontiac from Pennsylvania in the 1870's through the 1920's. I found the Hendershot's, and Coup's, but could not find the Shanks. (The other sister is in another cemetery out there.) I found that someone recently put the Shank memorials on Find A Grave and I did photo requests for those also. I live in the Chicago area and it is a little ways away. I have the sickness of Genealogy as well, loved your bio. Jessica

Thank you for posting the photo of Frances Sellmyer's grave. I, too, suffer from the genealogy disease. It's a good one to have.
